How can you defeat the Warden in the game?
Defeating the Warden in the game involves strategic moves. One approach is to strike him and retreat to the nearest outer prison entrance. Once he's in the outer prison, move to the inner prison and strike him with a sword or move. The Warden lacks a ranged attack and cannot ascend from a certain height. His sword range is also less than the player's. Another strategy is the 'Hit and Run' technique, where you dodge into the Warden, strike, and dodge away before he can react. Behavior[]
The Warden uses Dual Katana as his weapon, but does not use any of its moves. Elemental immunity will not work on Warden, as with all bosses.
Tips & Tricks[]
- A strategy to defeat the Warden is to hit him and run from the closest entry to the outer circle of the Prison and once he is in the outer prison the player can go out to the inner prison and hit him with a sword or a move since he does not have a ranged attack. The Warden cannot go up from that tiny height and has a less sword range that the player. This method can also be done for the Chief Warden.
- Another method to defeat the Warden is to try to perform the "Hit and run". It consists of having the player to dodge into the Warden, land a hit and dodge away before it reacts and hits the player. If done correctly and efficiently, the player should be able to consistently land hits on the Warden without having him hit the player. Light is recommended for this method due to Light having ranged moves. (Note: the player should make sure to not run out of energy, otherwise they won't be able to dash.) The player can also go on the thin ledge on the wall of the prison and spam moves. Magma is recommended due to its high-damage and lava puddles that can at least touch the enemy even if the main attack does not hit.
- The player should try not to use [M1] attacks or swords, since the Warden’s attacking style is close combat. Instead, it is recommended to use long-range weapons continuously, since the Warden has no medium/long range moves. It is recommended to use fruits such as Ice and Light for this.
