Pros
General Affordable price. Decent option for beginners. Low mastery requirements.
[Z] Air Slashes Barrage Quick start. Moderately fast projectiles. Good combo starter for early First Sea weapons. Deals AoE damage.
[X] Violent Rush Good mobility. Deals AoE damage.

Cons
General Dash at the fourth swing, making it not very suitable for grinding. Slower swing speed and only slightly higher damage compared to its predecessor, Dual Katana. Cannot hit Blade users.
[Z] Air Slashes Barrage Short ranged.
[X] Violent Rush Short ranged. Slight end-lag, making it not very suitable for PvP.

The Vice Admiral, Fishman Commandos, Marine Captains, and Cake Guards use the Triple Katana as their weapon.
The Triple Katana is one of the only three Swords in the game that have three Swords combined to form one. (Triple Katana, True Triple Katana and Triple Dark Blade).
