Trial of the Machine is the trial for awakening the Cyborg race.
Appearance[]
The Trial of the Machine is a simple gray room with pipes on the stone walls. The floor has an outer perimeter of stone, Also has gears scattered around the room, and there is a grey inner square, which is the primary area. Overall, the Trial of The Machine is significantly simpler than the average Trial Room.
Mechanics[]
Once the player is in the room, bombs will start dropping. In order to pass the trial, the player must dodge all the bombs for 45 seconds. Bombs may drop randomly anywhere throughout the room. The floor will emit red circles to the location of a bomb dropping, similar to that of Bomb's previous land mine circles. The initial stages of the trial are arguably considered the easiest. However, in later trials, especially the fifth trial, the bombs become somewhat difficult to dodge.
Tips and Tricks[]
- The player should never stop moving, as bombs can easily catch them off guard. This is more important in the third or fourth trial.
- Jumping can get the player out of tight spots.
- Keep in mind that this gets harder with each consequent trial.
- Speed is key. Equipping an accessory like the Pilot Helmet can turn this fairly easy trial into an absolute cakewalk.
- If the player uses Skull Guitar's X move when the countdown reaches one, they can use moves and Flash Step out.
Trivia[]
