Trial of Carnage is the trial for awakening the Ghoul race.

Upon entering the Ghoul trial door in the Temple of Time, the player will be put in a room. Once the player is in the room, waves of Ancient Zombies and Ancient Vampires will spawn. In order to pass the trial, the player must defeat all the waves of Ancient Zombies and Ancient Vampires in under one minute. Each wave will spawn 5 Ancient Zombies. The trial may consist of two to four waves.

Tips[]

  • Use any fruit that can handle crowds of enemies such as Blizzard, Buddha, Magma, Venom, Kitsune, etc. Grouping them up is also recommended so the player can damage all of the NPCs at once.
  • Grouping enemies up can be essential for Ghoul's lifesteal. The player can also use Creation's Build Mode to contain them.

Fruits[]

  • Buddha: The extra range on M1s, paired with any good fighting style or sword makes this easily the best fruit for this trial.
  • Shadow: The high damage output with shadow and the stun when using the [V] move makes this a breeze.
  • Magma: Insanely high damage, along with good AOE makes this trial a lot easier.
  • Sound: All moves have extremely high damage outputs and range making this trial easy.
  • Blizzard: The [V] move fills the whole area and the damage output and the stuns make this trial look easy.
  • Ghost: The [V] move can be used to summon ghosts, as well as a second life will give the player an advantage.
  • Dragon: The M1, [Z], [C] deals damage multi-target, the player can also use [X] and [F] to escape.

Swords[]

  • Cursed Dual Katana: The [Z] move can be used to push enemies away from the player so they can get some air and overall does decent damage, along with fast M1s.
  • Yama: The knockback on its moves and the damage output make this trial a lot easier.
  • Hallow Scythe: The damage output and low cooldowns with the fast M1s.
  • Shark Anchor: The range, damage and knockback on this sword makes this trial overall easier since the player can use all those to their advantage.
  • Dragon Trident: All moves have AoE damage and stun. [Z] move can be used to knock enemies away.

Fighting Styles[]

  • Sanguine Art: The M1s, the health regen and the damage make this the fighting style the best to use in Trials of Carnage.
  • Electric Claw: The moves are multi-target and do high damage.
  • Dragon Talon: The M1s have high damage, as well as the skills do. [X] and [C] moves have AoE and knockback, [Z] move can be used for "escape".

Notes[]

  • Like any other trial, the player can restart if the Full Moon lasts.
  • Each time a gear is replaced or a new gear is placed, the next trial will become harder, similar to all race awakening trials.
  • It is useless to use race awakening during trials, as once all players complete trials, the awakening bar resets.
  • Enemies in the Trial of Carnage do not give any rewards. (Such as Money $ and Experience EXPExperience EXP.)
  • Enemies in the Trial of Carnage possess Aura. Thus, are able to bypass Elemental Immunity.
  • Enemies in the Trial of Carnage use Flash Step, so running around randomly is not very ideal and will likely get the player killed as the enemies Flash Step onto them and can hit them instantly.
  • A glitch can happen when one of the other players fails to complete their trial while the Trial of Carnage is still occurring, the current enemies alive of this trial will become invincible and will not despawn. This can make ulterior attempts to complete this trial harder.
