The Terrorshark is a Lv. 2000 Raid Boss that has a chance to spawn between Sea Danger Levels 2-6 in the Third Sea.
Spawning
The Terrorshark has a chance to spawn between Sea Danger Levels 2-6. When spawned, it will swim around the player(s) boat and constantly attack the player(s) until the boat/target dies. As the Sea Danger Level increases, the Terrorshark will progressively get stronger and harder to defeat. It is recommended to not go past Danger Level 5 as the Terrorsharks that spawn there are very powerful. Although higher levels do not increase health, they will carry more sharks and do greater damage. It is also almost impossible to escape from the Terrorshark, however fast fruits, such as Light, and boats, such as The Sentinel can sometimes outrun them.
Occasionally, more than one Terrorshark can spawn at once. This will make it way harder to fight them as they will both attack right after one finishes, so its splash move can stun lock players until they meet their demise or until the Terrorshark’s attack pattern finishes.
The player does not have to be moving to spawn a Terrorshark (similarly to Sea Beasts before Update 20). The person has to at least be at Sea Danger Levels 2-6 in order for it to spawn. The Terrorshark will spawn in a radius of their boat, and the player can tell if it spawns as they will be able to see a big HP meter at the top of their screen, indicating that the player is near one. The screen will also darken and music will play. If the player is sitting in a seat on a boat, they will eventually be kicked out of the seat due to the Terrorshark’s splash.
Anchored Terrorshark
The Anchored Terrorshark is a Terrorshark that has a chance to spawn if the player driving the boat has a Monster Magnet.
The Monster Magnet will say "Your <Monster Magnet> has attracted an irregular beast..." when it has been used while encountering a Terrorshark.
If the Monster Magnet is used, and the Terrorshark's health is 195,000, the user with the Magnet has a 100% chance to obtain the Shark Anchor after successfully defeating the boss.
Note: Only the player who had their Monster Magnet consumed is able to obtain the Shark Anchor.
If multiple people have a Monster Magnet when a Terrorshark spawns only 1 player will be able to get the Shark Anchor, but the Monster Magnet of the other players will not be consumed.

Tips
- It is recommended to dash backwards and spam [M1] attacks since the player can hit the Terrorshark and it will have a hard time hitting the player.
- Going in groups can distribute the damage of the Terrorshark's bites and can sometimes overwhelm it and limit its super splash effectiveness.
- It is highly recommended for the player to have Shark V2/V3/V4, as the Terrorshark can knock the player under the Water, possibly killing the player.
- It's recommended to use Shark V3 or V4 as they can come in handy to prevent certain death from the Terrorshark's attacks, and the Leviathan's Armor ability from its awakening can prevent a loss of massive amounts of health.
- The player can be pair both of them together to make it even harder for the Terrorshark to drain their health.
- If the player using Angel V4, Use the flight (press and hold jump) to stay a fair distance above the Terrorshark, and spam Magma attacks from above. This is especially useful for when multiple Terrorsharks spawn.
- Angel V3's Heavenly Blood ability, with the Lei, or Leviathan Crown accessories equipped will greatly increase healing, making it incredibly useful for staying alive.
- Race Awakening is highly recommended here because the player could survive longer with it.
- Mammoth is one of the best shark hunting fruits because of its ability to break from the transformation F move. The player can use it to get the Shark Anchor more easily when playing solo. Although, Mammoth's low damage can be problematic.
- Buddha is recommended since [M1] attacks can hit both Terrorsharks and Sharks around them. Buddha also has great damage reduction on top of the water immunity buff when awakened. Using Buddha's awakened form will make the fight significantly easier as the player most likely won’t drown. The player can also try to cover themselves from the Terrorshark with their boat as they can M1 and damage The Terrorshark from afar. Always get a boat with the most HP as it will come in handy with this and other Sea Events.
- While in Buddha's awakened form, try to go on top of a rock, this will prevent the shark from using most of its attacks (only the pull attack).
- While in Buddha's awakened form, go up and use projectiles or ranged moves (e.g. Dragon Talon X) and mobility moves (e.g. Cursed Dual Katana X) to go up.
- To kill the Terrorshark more easily, it is recommended to use awakened Magma, using attacks from above so that it doesn't reach the player whereas the player does, and try to lure it away from the boat to continue their hunt with their boat with high health.
- If the player is hunting the Leviathan Raid Boss without a Portal User/Player, it is recommended that if a Terrorshark spawns, all the players that aren't driving should jump off the boat to fight while someone drives the boat away, as the Terrorshark can choose the boat as its target.
- If the player is hunting the Leviathan Raid Boss or Sea Events and they don't want to fight any Terrorshark(s), they will need a Portal user/player, as the Portal user can use Portal's [V] move to stop the Terrorshark from hitting them. Terrorshark(s) will despawn and the player can now resume safely.
- Alternatively, if the player is using Kitsune, they can use the Transform [V] ability and run in a straight line away from their boat until the Terrorshark(s) despawns, allowing them to return to their boat and continue safely. It is recommended to use Pilot Helmet when running away from the Terrorshark(s) to increase the player's chances of successfully outrunning it. Furthermore, it is also recommended to have Human, Rabbit, Shark, or Ghoul V2 to even further increase the player's chances of survival, due to the increased speed passive they gain.
- Blizzard is also a good alternative to sea events. Its high AoE and decent-ranged attacks could help the player kill a Terrorshark. However, it may be hard to solo a Terrorshark because the player still needs to be close for its moves to be used effectively and efficiently.
- Awakened Magma is another effective way to hunt Terrorsharks. Use any mobility move to go up in the air and then spam Magma Z (make sure to hold), V, and C until the Terrorshark(s) die. None of the Terrorshark's moves can hit the user while they are high enough in the air, so this essentially allows the player to solo them. It's also recommended to have a sword or fighting style with a move that allows the player to dash up (such as Godhuman Z and C) so the player can maintain their height while doing the hunt.
- Using Love's Z and X abilities while flying is a good strategy for fighting Terrorsharks.
- Use awakened Phoenix, Fly above the Terrorshark with swift flight and use the passive damage to kill it from above.
- In addition, using Phoenix also makes it possible for users to heal their teammates in emergencies.
- Use Leviathan Crown as it gives a 35% damage increase to Sea Events, as well as a buff to healing.
- Soul Guitar is also recommended as both of its moves can stun the shark, giving the player extra time.
- Gas' m1s can infinitely stun Terrorsharks which makes it one of the best for hunting them down.

Trivia
- Terrorsharks are sometimes abbreviated as "TS".
- Anchored Terrorshark are sometimes nicknamed "Anchorshark"
- Terrorsharks can despawn if the player out of range from the Terrorshark's Area. As long as the Terrorshark is still chasing them and taking damage in close range, they will not despawn.
- If the player runs away for long enough, the Terrorshark has a chance of getting stuck.
- 2 or more Terrorsharks can spawn at once, which will make the fight way harder, as both Terrorsharks will attack right after another one does. This makes the splash attack way more deadly as it can stun lock the player.
- The player can also air camp while using their ranged attacks, enabling them to kill any quantity of Terrorsharks without taking any damage.
- Terrorsharks can spawn in multiple colors such as red, green, blue, and gray.
- This is the most annoying sea event, as it constantly disturbs the player and knocks them out of the boat, making it so they can't escape it, for example: If the player wants to do Kitsune Shrine then the Terrorshark spawns, they are unlikely to do the Kitsune Shrine event, therefore wasting their time.
- The Terrorshark can actually growl. However, in the test, it could only be heard when the Terrorshark music stopped after the player went out of range. While growling, it also shakes.
- The Terrorshark wears the Terror Jaw's model but bigger.
- There is a small chance that the player can craft the Monster Magnet while having Shark Anchor at the same time. (The players current Shark Anchor's mastery, enchants and moves will not disappear completely, nor be obtainable back from an Anchored Terrorshark, if the player ever happens to spawn one.)
- Terrorshark is one of the most hated sea events by the community as it can ruin hunts for the Kitsune Island, Prehistoric Island or even the Frozen Dimension.
