Temple of Time

The Temple of Time is a Safe Zone location in the Third Sea, part of the Race Awakening's puzzle.

Location[]

The Temple of Time can be accessed after interacting with the Mysterious Force.

Accessing[]

Upon entering the Temple of Time, the player must obtain the Blue Gear to pull the lever that gives access to the Race Awakening trials.

The player must interact with the Sealed King again.
The player must go to one of the highest peaks of Mirage Island.
The player needs to then resonate with the moon by looking at the moon with their race's V3 ability activated while having a Mirror Fractal in their inventory.
- A message will appear saying: "Your <Mirror Fractal> has resonated with the moon."
- Note: A full moon is not required even if the Sealed King's dialogue talked about a full moon.
The player must find the Blue Gear on Mirage Island, which can spawn at certain locations. A list of these spawning locations can be found at the Mirage Island article.

Lever[]

After obtaining the Blue Gear, the player will be able to use the lever in the Temple of Time located above the entrance to the left hallway (inside of it) to the left side. After pulling the lever, a secret door hidden in that same hallway will open on the far end to the right, giving access to the Race Awakening trials.

Trials Area[]

When the lever has been successfully pulled, the wall at the end of the hallway will open up, revealing the secret room to access the trials for each Race Awakening. However, if the player has not pulled the lever, after taking a few steps into this room, they will receive the message "You are not strong enough to be here." If the player continues to walk forward, they will be teleported back to the entry room of The Temple.

Inside the Temple of Time, there is an NPC named "Ancient One" who plays a vital role in the Race Awakening process. If the player turns right from the Ancient One, they can find a long stairway that always teleports them back if they move a short distance, making them unable to reach the end of the staircase without having completed a trial. If the player manages to reach the top, it leads to the Ancient Clock.

Trivia[]

The theme of the Temple of Time is Hypnotical Suspense, courtesy of APM music.
- This theme is also played in Arowe's hidden place.
Every sound the player makes in the Temple of Time will have a reverb effect.
If the player attempts to go near the walls of the Ancient Clock without "achieving greatness" or in the process of getting a gear, they will be teleported back to the entrance of the Temple of Time/spawn.
- However, the player can still get the Ancient Clock when they complete a challenge to get a gear or get all the gear. (Both red and blue gear have Tier 2)
Previously, the door used to enter the secret room had a timer that said "Coming soon". This may have indicated that Race v4 could be solved when it no longer said "Coming soon".
When the player maxes out a race or gets to a certain point, they can revisit the Ancient Clock anytime.
If the player glitches outside of the temple and falls off the side, they will fall into Sea Danger Level 4.
There is a glitch that happens when the player uses Slayer of Goliath from Cursed Dual Katana or when successfully glitching up the stairway toward the Ancient Clock. A dialogue pops up saying: "Are you sure you wish to leave? You cannot come back without passing the trials again." The player can answer with "Yes" or "Nevermind". To do this, the player needs to go into First-Person mode and use Slayer of Goliath after the fourth pillar of the stairway.
There is a glitch where if the player enters the Temple of Time right before a trial starts, it will let them in the Temple of Time. However, they cannot attack any players doing the trial.
