Hi there! If you're new to this wiki (or fandom) and plan on making an account, please check out our Rules page, for information on new accounts and some rules to follow.
Spirit allows the user to use spirit-based attacks, mainly revolving around Demons (Ra) and Angels (Shu). Ra and Shu are most likely based on the Egyptian gods, Ra and Shu.
The user can summon spirits that attack, heal, or grant speed upon being summoned, providing strong support capabilities alongside massive AoE potential in PvP. Spirit is the fifth most expensive fruit in the game, having reasonable value in trading.
It remains as a good option for grinding due to the M1 being extremely 'spammy', and the [Z], [X] and [C] all have little to no knockback with good damage. Spirit excels in PvP thanks to its high damage output and strong combo potential, being a powerful fruit for punishing enemies and dishing out large amounts of damage in a matter of seconds due to its incredible stun and good AoE. However, its moves have relatively lengthy cooldowns, meaning patience is key when using this fruit.
The user will have a Spirit counter above their moveset and a line that constantly moves between each color. Spirits are collected over time after the bar reaches the end and are used when the user summons a buddy. The buddy summoned depends on the color the bar is in. The maximum amount of spirits that the player can summon is nine.
Heaven and Hell
Angel (Shu)
Demon (Ra)
The user will always have 2 certain Buddies around them, the Angel (Shu) and Demon (Ra).
Clicking while the meter is in the cyan area will summon a supportive helper.
Clicking while the meter is in the red area will summon an offensive helper.
Buddies
Spirits can be used by the user by clicking on the ground, which will randomly summon unique and random buddies. The "Heaven" zone buddies support the player, and the "Hell" zone buddies offend enemies.
Heavenly Buddies:
Star, which heals the user every 2-5 seconds. (the user can tell by seeing a green glow around them).
Flying Pig, which gives a temporary speed boost to the player (the user can tell by seeing a small golden orb around them).

Hellish Buddies:
Toxic Mushroom, which spouts out poisonous gas similar to Venom's C skill, passively damaging enemies.
Toad, which pulls nearby enemies with its tongue and deals damage.
Cursed Tree, which can summon roots that stun nearby enemies.

High combo potential; all moves of Spirit except [F] can be combined easily.
All moves are AoE moves, making it a decent fruit to grind with if the user can manage the knockback.
Extremely high damage, easy to pressure enemies while in a PvP, since a small mistake can result in their health being depleted rapidly.
Extremely Versatile. With the help of the buddies, the user can use every perk that the game has to offer: stun, healing, movement speed, DoT, AoE, and knockback.
Can be used for hybrid builds.
[TAP] Summon Buddies
The Buddies can not be harmed, but they vanish after a few seconds. The range of their parkside is also not affected by the players' distance from them. For example, if the user has a healing spirit, it will still heal them even if they are far away.
The healing/speed spirits allow the user to easily switch their play style from being aggressive to being passive.
Good for grinding
The Cursed Tree has auto-aim.
[Z] Frostfire Grasp
Long stun
Huge hitbox
Easy combo starter, combos well into the [C] move
Deals more damage when attacking more enemies
[X] Wrath of Ra
This move has DoT [burning], temporarily making it disable Instinct for a while in PvP.
High range (when held) and high damage, combining well into the [V] move
The animation creates an explosion, making it difficult for the enemy to react in time.
Insanely high & powerful damage, allowing the user to kill enemies with shorter combos.
Quick start and low end-lag, making it another good move to "catch" people.
[F] Sky Ruler
Good for sky camping.
Moderately Fast.
Cons
General
Extremely high Mastery requirements for all moves, tied with Control and Dragon at 350 mastery. (Not recommended if being lower than Lv. 800)
Moves are considered to be relatively slow.
[TAP] Summon Buddies
The possibility of spawning buddies is random, making it possible for the user to get buddies they do not want (Such as a star instead of a flying pig).
Toxic Mushroom is nearly useless in PvP, since no one's going to stay inside the fog, and Cursed Tree can be easily avoided by air camping or staying away. Along with that, dashing and running can avoid Toad extremely easily.
[Z] Frostfire Grasp
Relatively short range, but makes up for it with its huge hitbox.
High endlag, makes the user vulnerable to attacks if missed.
[X] Wrath of Ra
Long range has a short wind up before release, relatively short range when tapped.
[C] Wrath of Shu
Can be punished if missed. (It is unlikely however, as the AoE would freeze enemies had they been so close)
Can be dodged if at the edge.
[V] End of Times
Vulnerable if missed. (But directing the beam’s explosion near them can help keep enemies away from combining)
The screen-shaking effect may affect the user's combos.
[F] Sky Ruler
Not recommended for use in pursuit of enemies or as a platform for aerial PvP.
Tips & Tricks[]
There are a couple of swords that work well in combination with Spirit:
Cursed Dual Katana - a top choice due to its extremely high mobility and good combo potential.
Shark Anchor - has a large hitbox range, creating easy stuns and helping the player start combos easily.
Fox Lamp - has an extremely long-range stun ability, making closing the distance easier
Some swords do not work as well:
Spikey Trident - though it does have decent range, and is okay for basic combos; it does not have a lot of mobility, Instinct-break, and has a high delay on most attacks. Due to this, the other swords are preferred.
Ghoul is a highly recommended race with this fruit due to its faster speed, and lower cooldowns from the V3 ability. Ghoul increases the (already high amount of) damage from Spirit, and essentially makes the opponent fight back effectively.
Also, when Heightened Senses is activated, Spirit [TAP] will be accelerated to an incredible speed, allowing the player to spam Heavenly Buddies 9 times, meaning they are able to heal quickly whilst moving quicker.
Draco is also alright due to its high damage and power buffs, but its speed is quite slow, making it difficult to catch people during Bounty Hunting or to escape from difficult situations. Its buffs are more situational than Ghoul's general overall strength.
Trivia[]
An image of Toad not having textures.
Rarely, Toad may lose its textures.
Cursed Tree is the only buddy whose form was not changed during the rework in Update 17.3.
Due to the nerf in update 24 to Angel's V3 ability, the healing ability of the stars offers a great alternative for those looking to heal in a pinch. Much like Angel's V3 ability, making it ideal in the heat of battle.
There was a bug where if the user activated the flying pig's speed and then switched to another permanent fruit, they could keep the speed from the flying pigs. This glitch could be stacked and therefore abused, as continuous repeating of it would lead to tremendous amounts of speed. Some YouTube videos even state that 2 dashes were enough to go across Castle on the Sea. (Patched in Update 20)
The [X] move has a visual bug that makes it slightly hard to land from afar, but it is easier to use when aiming under the user's avatar.
[C] Wrath of Shu has different sound effects for different targets, slowly scaling with larger opponents. The absolute maximum size is against a Sea Beast, when cast on one, its sound effect is almost akin to the shattering of glass.
For some reason, the Spirit fruit model/image has the Angel and Demon sides switched.
