The Skull Guitar (formerly known as Soul Guitar) is a Mythical gun.

The Skull Guitar is one of the best and most popular frequently used guns in PvP, thanks to its exceptional combo potential, stun effects, and long range. It is primarily used as a support weapon and pairs effectively with almost every build, making it a versatile choice for many players.

It is also a decent option for grinding, as its attacks are multi-target, deal decent damage, and have good AoE. This gun is also the most difficult to obtain.

Obtainment

The player must be Lv. 2300+ in order to complete the Skull Guitar Puzzle, which involves the Full Moon.

After completing the puzzle, the player will need the following materials and then talk to the Weird Machine in order to craft Skull Guitar:

• 1 Dark Fragment
• 5,000 Fragments

Undead Notes + -
	The user plays a riff, quickly releasing a swirl of glowing green notes with green strands trailing it. It explodes on impact and when it explodes, it shoots out small green notes (these notes don't do damage). It does high damage with a large hitbox. This move has Destructible Physics and consumes 20 Energy.

Soul Shaker 150 Mastery + -
	The user strums the guitar and summons a skull with the power of the undead in front of them, which opens its mouth and instantly shoots a beam of souls from its mouth that can go through walls and solid surfaces, whilst tinting their screens in red for a single frame. The beam explodes on impact with an enemy, dealing high damage and knocking them away, similar to Kabucha's [X] move but faster. However, this move does not break Instinct most of the time, making it a weaker version of Kabucha's [X] move.

The user strums the guitar and summons a skull with the power of the undead in front of them, which opens its mouth and instantly shoots a beam of souls from its mouth that can go through walls and solid surfaces, whilst tinting their screens in red for a single frame. The beam explodes on impact with an enemy, dealing high damage and knocking them away, similar to Kabucha's [X] move but faster. However, this move does not break Instinct most of the time, making it a weaker version of Kabucha's [X] move.
El Diablo 300 Mastery + -
	The user quickly strums the guitar before summoning a skull with the power of the undead above them, which rises to the sky with soul static before exploding and creating a tick-damage AoE move that damages and stuns anyone on the ground in the radius of the move. If the user hits an NPC or a Player a soul will follow and regenerate the user's health. It heals about 3% of the user's max health and 10% damage converted to health (only when damaging a player or NPC).

Pros
General High damage. Overwhelming range, can hit people from far away. Acts greatly as a combo starter. All moves (including M1s) can damage enemies from Sea Events.
[TAP] Undead Notes Can break Instinct. Great range. Easy to hit. Hitbox is better than other guns. Has Destructible Physics. Multi-target. Can damage large objects.
[Z] Soul Shaker Extremely fast. Great range. Good stun. The attack will continue to hit the enemy even if they dodge with Instinct. Can drain opponent's Instinct dodges. Can be used to line up aim for ranged swords or fruits with small hitboxes.
[X] El Diablo Can break Instinct. Excellent combo starter. Slightly heals the user's health. Decently large AoE. Good stun. Can stun Rubber users by slowly levitating them, despite not being able to damage them. Has Destructible Physics.

Cons
General High-level requirements to obtain and a lot of Materials are required. Currently the hardest gun to obtain without help from guides. Rubber users are immune, as with all guns.
[TAP] Undead Notes Instinct-trickable (non-impact). Consumes energy. (It doesn't actually consume that much energy since the user can regenerate energy fast if the user has a lot of energy) Slow projectile speed.
[Z] Soul Shaker Hard to hit. Does not hit at close range sometimes. Can be dodged with Instinct.
[X] El Diablo Can be easily avoided. Can be dodged at the edge. Having a medium i-frame makes it ineffective for PvP in the air. Only some swords can be used during the move. Visual effects are huge and can block both the sight of the enemy as well as the user, making it harder to combo without Instinct.

Trivia

• The Skull Guitar is currently the first and only Mythical gun in the game.
• The Skull Guitar, along with Dragonstorm are the only guns that are obtained by crafting.
• The Skull Guitar is the only gun in the game with an M1 that consumes energy (20 per use).
• The Skull Guitar, Bizarre Revolver, Dragonstorm and Kabucha are the only guns that can be bought without requiring Money.
• The Skull Guitar, along with the Bazooka and the Cannon, can break Instinct using their M1s.
• While pressing M1 and [X] El Diablo at the same time, it will cancel the move.
• "El Diablo" means "The Devil" in Spanish.
• The Skull Guitar is regarded as one of the best guns for PvP and is the most popular by far.
• Refined Slingshot's [Z] Ink Swarm and Skull Guitar's [X] El Diablo are the only gun moves that are able to apply Life Leech.
• The Skull Guitar is useful in finding the Blue Gear in Mirage Island, due to its M1s being able to light up a place.
• The Skull Guitar’s M1 animation causes the player to go further with jump dashes (dashing and jumping successively), similar to Cyborg V4's Super Dashes/Jumps.
