The Ship Raid is a sea event that can occur in the Second Sea and Third Sea.
The Ship Raid has a chance to happen when the player sails across the sea in a boat. It has two Brigade ships, and a chance to have a Grand Brigade, which will constantly shoot cannonballs at their ship. They will despawn after they successfully destroy the player's boat/ship or if they go far enough away. The player can sink these ships by firing their cannons at them or using AoE moves against them.

Notes[]
- The health of these ships depends on the level of the player, but the Grand Brigade will always have much more health than the two Brigades.
- It is recommended to have a friend with the player while doing this, as they can steer the ship away while the player breaks the ships (only AoE moves work on them).
- It is recommended to use Awakened Magma when dealing with the Ship Raid because of its low cooldown and very strong moves.
- Dragonstorm is also a great choice, as its [M1] attacks can deal high damage to Ship Raids.
- Ship's cannonball in ship raids does not get affected by gravity, and it also breaks Instinct.
- Non-AoE attacks do not work on ships, so M1s do not deal any damage (Except for Explosive Guns, Mammoth's Roar, Kitsune's M1, Dragon's M1, and T-Rex's M1, Transformed Yeti's M1, Eagle's M1 ).
- There is a glitch where the Fool's Gold obtainment message does not appear upon destroying the Grand Brigade, however, the player still gets it in their inventory. This has led many players to believe that the regular ship raid does not give any Fool's Gold.
- The ships have weird hitboxes, making it sometimes hard to hit them.
Tips & Tricks[]
- It is highly recommended to be a gun main and use dragonstorm as the m1s of it can damage the ships and destroy them within 20 or 30 seconds
- The player can use cannons to damage other ships while they dodge the cannons.
- Run straight into the ships with a boat to gather them up and use AoE moves against them to sink them as fast as possible. The player's boat will not heal after the raid is over, so it is advisable to spawn a new ship.
- If the player does not want to deal with these ships, they can drive the boat straight ahead, away from them, while doing a zig-zag move every now and then. This is so that they will miss every time they shoot. The player should try to predict when they will shoot to get a better dodge.
- If the player is using the Miracle, The Sentinel or Sleigh and do not want to deal with these ships, it is recommended to just run the boat straight ahead, away from them, since these boats offer a lot of speed and the ships will not be able to catch up.
- If the player is using Tiger, it is recommended to spam M1 Roar, short tap/click Finger Revolver, and Afterimage Assault.
- Use Blizzard because the [F] move can easily hit ships and sink them quickly, another bonus is Human V4's Psycho ability when upgraded will not cancel the flight even when receiving damage.
- When grinding ship raids for Fragments, it is better to grind in Second Sea because of the higher amount of fragments they get.
Trivia[]
- There's a bug in which the Grand Brigade gets stuck on the owner's ship and will not fire the cannons. This is a great opportunity to attack it.
- In the Second Sea, the Grand Brigade in ship raids will not spawn when the ship is too large (e.g. Beast Hunter or Lantern).
- Sometimes, the Grand Brigade cannot be damaged unless the two small Brigades are destroyed, which sometimes can have their hitbox behind their model, making it harder to hit .
