The Shark Anchor is an excellent choice for Sword Mains in PvP, as it provides serious damage with moves that have low cooldowns and are easy to land.
Although amazing on the ground, it loses some effectiveness in the air. However, it is not a major issue, as with practice, the moves can still be landed in the air consistently.
The Shark Anchor is dropped from defeating an Anchored Terrorshark. Only the player who had their Monster Magnet consumed can obtain the Shark Anchor once they defeat the Anchored Terrorshark. The player has to also deal at least 10% of the damage to the Anchored Terrorshark.
A system message will appear " Your Monster Magnet has attracted an irregular beast..." upon consumption of the Monster Magnet.
The user starts to rapidly rotate the anchor with a chain, similar to awakened Dough [C] then the user shoots a fast water shark in the direction of the mouse. When this projectile makes contact with something, a water tornado is formed and explodes, throwing it upwards. This attack gets bigger if the user charges this skill.

The user dashes forward, performing an uppercut with the sword. Enemies hit will be dragged along and slammed down, creating an anchor symbol on the ground if performed close to it. Creates a pink shatter and red slash effect and deals more damage if used against big targets. These include: Sea Beasts, ships, Terrorsharks, Factory Core and Leviathan and reduce armor from transformed players as Buddha users, Mammoth users, Dragon users, etc.

The swings and drag do not break Instinct but the explosion does.
The Shark Anchor is the third water-related sword, the first being Trident and the second being Dragon Trident.
It is recommended to use close-ranged fruits like Portal to increase combo effectiveness instead of using long ranged Blox Fruits like Lightning.
The Shark Anchor's M1s have a similar sound and VFX to that of Sharkman Karate and Water Kung Fu. This does not mean that the M1S do not have any delays.
[Z] Typhoon Toss
When used near a wall, gold marks will appear on the wall.
Aiming this move at the ground instead of away will briefly stun the enemy, making combos easier and more damaging.
[X] Armor Breaker
This move increases the damage on a large enemy, but that does not mean it completely ignores the defense of some transformed fruits. (Such as Buddha, the untransformed user will take 300 damage with one stat level, but in the transformed form it is reduced to 200.)
