It can be later upgraded to Saber V2, which is significantly better than Saber V1. This sword is used by the Saber Expert in-game.
Due to its incredible damage, Saber V2 is still considered to be fairly decent sword in PvP in the 2nd Sea. However, the player should upgrade to a better sword as they progress out of the 700 – 1000 level zone.
Upgrading to V2
In order to upgrade this sword, the player first has to earn one million Bounty / Honor.
After gaining one million Bounty/Honor (or higher), the player (1) then has to kill another player (2) with around the same level or higher, while the player (1) has the Saber equipped. There are no mastery or level requirements.
A message saying "Something weird has occurred to your <Saber>." will appear, if done correctly by the player (1). Note that the appearance of the sword itself will not change at all and neither will the name of the 2 moves. But the moves will look different. Either way, pay attention to the message!
|Deadly Rush||The user charges up, then dashes forward, damaging everything in their path.||50|
|Triple Slash||The user sends 3 air slashes in the direction of their cursor.||125|
|Deadly Rush||This move is, in theory, just V1's Z combined with V1's X. There's an area where the 2 moves combine and ,once you manage to land it on the enemy, will deal extremely high damage due to it being the equivalent of 2 sword moves at once.||50|
|Triple Slash||The user sends a red dragon-like in the direction of their cursor, doing more damage that its V1 counterpart.||125|
Pros & Cons
Decent hitbox on the attacks.
Obtainable as early as level 200, making it a good starter weapon.
Good for grinding.
Z move is a good combo extender
Extremely high damage on the Z move (if the player manages to hit it properly).
Every other weapon is (in theory) good with Saber V2, since the combos possible with it are endless, and deals tons of damage.
It is possible to do a one-shot using just Human's V3 ability along with the Z and X move, if done right.
Pretty decent range on the LMB and skills.
Both moves drain 3 Observation dodges from the enemy, making it possible to drain a total of 6 ken dodges.
Not too hard to obtain.
The combo possible with the Z and X move has severe endlag.
Both moves doesn't have that big of a hitbox, making it easy to avoid.
Does not break Observation.
Low LMB damage.
Below average for PvP.
The Z move can be decently hard to hit.
Difficult to hit a critical hit with the Z move.
Like V1, it still doesn't break Observation.
The combo possible with the Z and X move still has severe endlag.
V2's Z move, used at the perfect distance, has the highest damage out of every sword move in the game, doing over 6500 damage at max sword stats on players.
This is one of the best swords for grinding, as its LMB deals high damage, with little to no knockback, and has a low cooldown.
While this sword can be great for PvP, it can only really work if the opponent is not using Observation. As this sword doesn't have any moves that break Observation, it's suggested to have another weapon equipped that can break Observation easily.
- Awakened Dark [X]/[C] + Kabucha [X] + Saber (v2) [X] + Saber (v2) [Z] + Dragon Talon [X] + Dragon Talon [Z] + Flash Step (Soru) or Awakened Dark [F] + Dragon Talon [C]
- Awaken Dark [X]/[C] + Serpent Bow [X] + Saber (v2) [X], [Z] + Dragon Talon [X], [Z] + Dark [F] + Dragon Talon [C]
- Awaken Dark [X]/[C] or Unawaken Ice [V]+ Saber (v2) [Z] + SuperHuman [Z] + SuperHuman [C] or Kabucha [X] + Saber (v2) [X] + Flash Step (Soru) + SuperHuman [X]
- Stun Move + Stun Move + Saber [X], [Z] + Superhuman [X] (gets you to red)
- The saber v1 [Z] move is a good combo extender so always try to combo with that (for low level)
- You should aim accurately to deal a critical hit on your opponent (v2)
