Rumbling Waters is a sea event.
Spawning[]
Rumbling Waters can spawn in Third Sea, at any Sea Danger Level between 1-6.
Appearance[]
When Rumbling Waters spawns, there will be a downpour, similar to the rain at Tiki Outpost. Three Sea Beasts will emerge from the water, and the theme "Haunted Halls" will play.
Sea Beasts[]
Three Sea Beasts will appear when Rumbling Waters is triggered. Each Sea Beast's health depends on the number of players that triggered the event. The more players, the stronger the Sea Beasts will be, similar to normal Sea Beasts.
Drops[]
Note: The following drops are the drops from each Sea Beast, and not the combined drops from Rumbling Waters.
- 150 (Total: 450)
- 125,000 — 250,000 (depending on the player's level)
- 1 Level each (Total: 3 Levels)
- 350 (Total: 1050)
Possible Drops[]
Tips[]
- It is recommended that the player attacks from behind a Sea Beast, so that the other two Sea Beasts' Deadly Shower attacks hit the Sea Beast the player is attacking.
- Some recommended Blox Fruits that work the best when fighting Rumbling Waters are Magma V2, Flame, Venom, Buddha, Blizzard, Love, Sound, Ice, Dough, etc.
- These Blox Fruits are recommended as they offer extremely high damage, and the ability to survive in or on the water, such as Ice or Magma.
- It is not recommended to fight Rumbling Waters alone due to how hard it is to defeat multiple Sea Beasts, unless using certain Blox Fruits, such as Magma or Buddha. It is recommended to fight Rumbling Waters with other players.
- Fighting one sea beast at a time is recommended.
- Large AoE moves (such as Dragon Trident's X) might hit multiple Sea Beasts at the same time.
- Attacking between the Sea Beasts is recommended for these moves.
Trivia[]
- Although rare, an event might occur in which multiple Sea Beasts may spawn at once. However, it is not considered Rumbling Waters, unless there is rain and the text, "<Rumbling Waters>", appears at the top of the screen. Sea Beasts can naturally spawn in sets of two or three, but very rarely.
- The Deadly Shower attack of a Sea Beast can be blocked by the hitbox of another one.
- It is possible to easily deal damage to multiple Sea Beasts by aiming at the center of the conjoining hitboxes (where the whirlpools meet). This strategy is useful with Buddha as it allows the player to tank attacks whilst maximizing their damage output. However, it is important to note that Sea Beasts do not take damage from [M1] attacks.
