Sea BeastRumbling Waters

The Rumbling Waters is a sea event composed of three Sea Beasts.

Spawning[]

The Rumbling Waters can spawn at any Sea Danger Level in the Third Sea between 1-6.

Appearance[]

When the Rumbling Waters spawn, there will be a downpour, similar to the rain at Tiki Outpost. Three Sea Beasts will emerge from the water, and the soundtrack "Haunted Halls" will play.

Sea Beasts[]

Three Sea Beasts will appear when the Rumbling Waters event is triggered. Each Sea Beast's health depends on the number of players that triggered the event. The more players, the stronger the Sea Beasts will be, in a similar way to normal Sea Beasts.

Drops[]

Note: The following drops are the drops from each Sea Beast, and not the combined drops from Rumbling Waters.

  • f 150 (Total: f 450)
  • $ 125,000 — 250,000 (depending on the player's level)
  • 1 Level each (Total: 3 Levels)
  • Valor 350 (Total: Valor 1050 and only if the player has the Shipwright subclass unlocked.)
Possible Drops

Tips[]

  • It is recommended that the player positions themselves behind one Sea Beast while attacking it. This strategy causes the Deadly Shower abilities from the other two Sea Beasts to strike the one being targeted, reducing the player's risk of taking damage.
  • It is recommended the Player use Shark Tooth Necklace or Leviathan Crown Accessory while fighting the Rumbling Waters for Extra damage.
  • Some recommended Blox Fruits that work the best when fighting the Rumbling Waters event are Dragon, Magma, Flame, Venom, Buddha, Blizzard, Sound, Bomb, Ice, Dough, Gas etc.
    • These Blox Fruits are recommended as they offer extremely high damage, and the ability to survive in or on the water, such as Ice or Magma.
  • It is recommended to fight the Rumbling Waters event due to how easy it is to defeat multiple Sea Beasts, while using certain Blox Fruits, such as Magma, Buddha or Mammoth. It is recommended to fight the Rumbling Waters with other players.
  • Bomb can solo Rumbling Waters very easily because of its C move which deals devastating amounts of damage to all three sea beasts when used at the center.
  • Fighting one Sea Beast at a time is recommended.
  • Large AoE moves (such as Dragon Trident's [X] Water Pulse) can hit multiple Sea Beasts at the same time and thus charge up the player's Race V4 bar quickly.
    • Attacking between the Sea Beasts is recommended for these abilities.
  • Another recommended Blox Fruit would be Mammoth's transformed [F] Stampede move for dealing lots of damage at once in the water (focus on one Sea Beast at a time) paired with Shark V2 or higher’s passive for its water immunity.
  • After researching, the Rumbling Waters and normal Sea Beasts does have differences: as the damage decreased by 60% The Health is only decreased by 10% depending on amount of players. 3 Sea Beasts are very different compared to Rumbling Waters after testing Health decrease faster was Sea Beasts without Rumbling Waters.

Trivia[]

  • Although rare, an event might occur in which multiple Sea Beasts may spawn at once. However, it is not considered as the Rumbling Waters, unless there is rain and the text "<Rumbling Waters>" appears at the top of the screen. Sea Beasts can naturally spawn in sets of two or three, but very rarely.
  • The Sea beast's Deadly Shower ability can be blocked if the player positions themselves behind another Sea Beast, using its hitbox as a shield. This effectively prevents the projectiles from reaching the player.
