"RIP Commander beckons from his throne." The Rip Commander is a Lv. 999999 Raid Boss.
Spawning[]
The Rip Commander spawns every hour at XX:30 (12:30, 1:30, 2:30, etc.) in the Celestial Domain (Interior) and will despawn after 15 minutes have passed. The following system messages will appear when he spawns: "The Celestial Domain's lift has been activated.", followed by "RIP Commander beckons from his throne." at which the boss spawns. After 15 minutes have passed, the following system message will appear when the Rip Commander despawns: "The Rip Commander has grown tired of waiting for a proper challenge — he disappears."
The Rip Commander has a chance to revive as a Tormented Boss, utilizing the Pain fruit (Celestial skin) alongside his base moves. Upon revival, his HP will be set back to 3,333,333.
Drops[]
600 Celestial Tokens- 125,000 Bounty/Honor
Celestial Surge Event[]
Upon defeating the Rip Commander, the Celestial Surge Event will activate 1 minute after his defeat. In this event, players can earn double tokens on everything for 3 minutes (except the exchanged tokens from celestial fish). It will also spawn multiple Celestial fishing spots around the castle.
Abilities[]
| Ability | Description | Tips |
|---|---|---|
| Fool's Demise | The Rip Commander locks on to one player, summoning two silhouettes representing angels that shoot beams of energy at that player. The player is knocked away, and the Commander finishes by throwing an explosive shard-like projectile towards them. | The grab breaks Instinct but can be dodged afterward. However, the move itself doesn't deal much damage so it need not be worried for as much as the others. However, pain/ghost users should be aware that if the move lands as a finisher, it will bypass their secondary lives. |
| Judgement of the Pitiful | The Rip Commander summons clouds out of which a pillar-like beam of light is shot out. This beam follows the player, and traps them for a short while. | Before the beam casts, a red warning circle appears below the player. Dashing out of it in time will allow them to evade easily. |
| Celestial Monuments | The Rip Commander goes into a coma-like state, while having lavender-purple energy swirls flow out of his hands. The celestial monuments will rise a bit and their marks will be glowed with lavender-white light, which needs to be destroyed before he can be damaged again. | Attack the pillars as fast as possible. |
Tips[]
- Using the Celestial Helmet or Divine Cloak yields the player a large reward of 780 Celestial Tokens.
- Buddha is a great choice. With a sword that has fast M1 and the Vampiric enchantment or Sanguine Art with Ghoul Mask and Ghoul v4 (Blood Siphon), the player can solo Rip Commander, since each swing heals and allows them to stay alive indefinitely.
- The player can also turn on autoclicker to maximize damage output.
- Players will deal 4x of their max damage, and will deal 40x of their max damage after all pedestals are destroyed.
- The Rip Commander often targets players with the least amount of health. Stay with other players if you're getting targeted and try not to die.
Notes[]
- When the boss is in his Celestial Monument form, the player has 1 minute to break all the pedestals before he heals all the way back to 9,999,999 HP and insta-kills the player.
- When destroying the pillars, Rip Commander will take extra damage (from x4 damage to x40 damage) making him easy to kill.
- However, after a while, he will go back to fighting like if nothing ever happened after breaking all the pedestals and doing some easy damage to him.
- After killing Rip Commander during the Tormented event (If he revives), everyone who participated in killing Rip Commander will get the reward as usual but don't get teleported back. If you kill the tormented version of Rip Commander, you can get the reward again.
- If the player at any point dies while fighting Rip Commander, they won't be able to come back to fight him, and won't receive any rewards upon his defeat, even if the player dealt enough damage.
Trivia[]
- In versions v27.3-0 and below, Rip commander will use Timeless Misery [C]. Any version above this will disable the move as it caused players to get bugged and flung into the sea.
- In his tormented form, Rip Commander is the only boss that revives with 3,333,333 hp instead of the usual 200,000 and gives Celestial Tokens instead of Summer Tokens upon defeat.
