The 50B Celebration Event is over.

Ranked PvP (2v2) was a game mechanic that allows any four players to engage in 2V2 combat. It was exclusively accessible in the 50B Celebration Event only.

Mechanics[]

Ranked PvP worked using the following rules/mechanics:

  • Non-participant players are unable to interfere with the match by any means. (Even with moves like Skull Guitar's [X] El Diablo)
  • Participant players are unable to damage any players outside of the match.
  • The health percentages of all players are displayed on all participant players' screens in two sets, green and red (friend and foe respectively) at the left and right sides of the screen.
  • All players are given i-frames a few seconds after the timer begins.
  • Both teams are given a timer of exactly 2 minutes to settle their fight.
    • If players from both teams are alive even after the timer, additional time is added and during it, all alive players will be dealt percentage-based damage. (This is to ensure the team having the player(s) with higher health wins.)
  • If not under any stun, or not dealing any stun, players outside the arena and above the set boundary of the arena (vertically), will be dealt percentage-based damage. (This is to prevent running.)
  • Eliminated players will be in a spectator mode, in which they can view the game in their teammate's perspective.
  • The winning team will be granted BP, letting the players of that team either rank up or rank up faster. (BP is given based on both teams' players' ranks, the greater the rank of the players won against, the greater the BP gained.)
  • The losing team will lose BP (need to be Platinum  or higher), demoting the ranks of the players of that team, or slowing down their rank-up. (BP is lost based on both teams' players' ranks, the lower the rank of players lost to, the greater the BP lost.)
  • All information about the damage dealt and damage taken (tanked) by all players of both parties will be precisely displayed in an interface that shows up after the match ends.

Ranks[]

Ranks are positions assigned to players based on their wins and losses, respective to what rank of players they've won or lost to. Ranks advance or recede with points/BP. Ranks have five divisions each (except Master ), 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. There are 6 ranks in Ranked PvP (2V2s):

  • Bronze
  • Silver
  • Gold
  • Platinum
  • Diamond
  • Master  (This rank doesn't have divisions; it advances in BP.)

Tips[]

  • Fruits having large AoE and stuns, such as Lightning can be very beneficial on the battlefield.
  • If both enemy players are attacking the player's teammate, they should stun them both off guard and coordinate with their teammate.
  • Teammates should focus on one player and then move to the other one after, fruits like pain can easily kill beast users because of thier large hitbox.
  • Opponents using fruits with large hitboxes, such as Buddha should be prioritised first since they are easier to hit and can also be a nuisance in the fight later on.
  • Opponents in the air should be ignored, and the ones that are closer to the ground should be combo-ed by both teammates.

Trivia[]

  • Leaving the game (after death) will result in no loss regardless of defeat and will also result in no gain regardless of victory.
  • Players of the rank Gold and lower will not lose any BP.
  • There is an Angel race icon on the 2v2s board.
  • There are two matchup boards, with both of them having their respective islands.
    • The board closer to the stadium stand teleports players to a larger arena.
