Raids are a special event that can be done in either Second or Third Sea.
Function[]
Raids allow the player to unlock awakened moves of Blox Fruits and to obtain Fragments. They also give titles like The Conqueror, The Supersonic, The Flash and 17 titles when awakening each fruits.
Raid Mechanics[]
Every raid contains five islands, with each one being more difficult to clear than the previous one. Different enemies spawn at every island, and the last Island comes with a "Raid Boss" (more information about both enemies and the boss below). In order for the next Island to spawn, the player must defeat all of the enemies that spawn. Completing a Raid with the corresponding Blox Fruit equipped will teleport the player into a room with the Mysterious Entity in it, where they can awaken a move of their fruit using Fragments. Each raid can give 60-1,000 depending on how long the player took to complete the raid or on which island the player is upon failing to complete the raid.
Note: If the player already has their fruit fully awakened, they will just be teleported to L'Église de Prophétie and cannot awaken any more moves.
- This is only false for Rumble raids because if the player has fully awakened Rumble, since they will get teleported to the Thunder God NPC.
Raid Types[]
Basic Raids[]
Players can start a Basic Raid by purchasing a basic raid microchip from Mysterious Scientist for either 100,000 or any physical Blox Fruit, and then pressing the button in the raid area. Players standing inside of the dark blue tubes in the Hot and Cold island (Second Sea) or on top of the yellow platforms at Castle on the Sea (Third Sea) will be teleported to the raid area.
- Only a maximum of 4 players can start a raid at a time. (Unless the players use certain Blox Fruits' moves such as Love's [F] move and Kitsune's [V] move, where players can ride other players. However, those riding on their backs cannot deal damage, but at least they can only stun.)
Advanced Raids[]
Players can start an Advanced Raid by purchasing an Advanced Raid Microchip from the Mysterious Scientist NPC for either 1,000 or any physical fruit worth more than 1,000,000. Currently, there are only two Advanced raids: Phoenix and Dough.
Second Sea[]
The Raid lobby for the Second Sea can be found inside a tower located on the Cold side of Hot and Cold. In order to open this entrance, the player needs to enter the following code into the main computer:
Red, Blue, Green, Blue.
The player should make sure that they are not holding anything, as the colors won’t change unless they have nothing in their hand. Once the player has done this, a secret door will open on the left side of the interior wall. From here, the player will be able to access to lobby.
Third Sea[]
The Raid lobby for the Third Sea can be found in the main building in Castle on the Sea.
Bladesmith[]
- The Bladesmith uses Dual Katana, but with the old moveset (X move & Katana/Cutlass's X move). They appear only in Island 1.
- The Bladesmith has 7,200 HP.
Bone Breaker[]
- The Bone Breaker uses Dark Step, but with the old moveset (Z & X). They appear in Islands 1-3.
- The Bone Breaker has around 7,700 HP.
- 2 Tanky Bone Breakers appear on Island 2 and have 19,250 HP.
Shocker[]
- The Shocker uses Electric, but with the old moveset (X & C).
- The Shocker appears in Island 2-4.
- The Shocker has 8,300 HP.
- 2 Tanky Shockers appear on Island 3 and have around 30,000 HP.
- (NOTE: If the player has Buddha transformation on, these will only act as a stun as the player will out-heal the damage)
Sorcerer[]
- The Sorcerer uses 1 of the following 3 Blox Fruits but with their old moveset: Bomb (Z & X), Spike (Z & X) or Smoke (X & C).
- The Sorcerer appears in Island 1-3.
- The Sorcerer has 7,400 HP.
- Tanky Sorcerer appears on Island 1, there are 2 of them and has 18,500 HP.
Fruit User[]
- The Fruit User uses an un-awakened Blox Fruit, depending on the Raid Theme (More info on Moves used in Section: About Raids).
- The Fruit User appears in Island 3-5.
- The Fruit User has 13,500 HP.
- 2 Tanky Fruit Users appear on Islands 4 and 5 and have 33,750 HP.
Raid Boss[]
- The Raid Boss uses an awakened Blox Fruit, depending on the Raid Theme (More info on Moves used in Section: About Raids).
- The Raid Boss has 155,500 HP.
- The Raid Boss only appears in Island 5.
Awakened Fruits[]
Total Fragments Needed: 14,500
- This Raid is based on the hot side of Hot and Cold.
- This Raid contains Flame Users which use Unawakened Flame’s Z and C.
- This Raid contains about 72,000 of enemy drops.
- The boss in this Raid uses Awakened Flame's Z, X and V.
- The player has to be careful while doing this raid, as it contains lava, which will deal a lot of damage if they step on it, unless the player is a magma user.
- This raid is widely considered as the easiest raid.
Total Fragments Needed: 14,500
- This Raid is based on Frozen Village and the cold side of Hot and Cold.
- This Raid contains Ice Users which use Unawakened Ice's Z and X.
- This Raid contains about 72,000 of enemy drops.
- The boss in this Raid uses Awakened Ice's Z, X and V.
- This is often regarded as one of the most annoying raids because of the stun of the boss and the NPCs.
Total Fragments Needed: 17,000
- This Raid is based on Marine Fortress.
- This Raid contains Quake Users which use the unawakened Quake's X and C.
- This Raid contains about 72,000 of enemy drops.
- The boss in this Raid uses Awakened Quake's X, C and V. (Remember that he can use V skill continuously but sometimes never uses it whatsoever)
- This raid has a high difficulty level because of the damage and AoE of the boss and NPC's. The Quake users on island 3-5 can fling the player with Quake's unawakened X.
- This raid was widely considered to be the one of the hardest raids before Update 15.
Total Fragments Needed: 14,500
- This Raid is based on Desert.
- This Raid contains Light users which use old Unawakened Light's X and C.
- This Raid contains about 62,000 of enemy drops.
- The boss in this Raid uses Awakened Light's Z, C and V.
- There is a pyramid on island 1 & 5.
- The pyramid on island 5 has the same model and hieroglyphics inside as the pyramid in Elemental Battlegrounds, an older game made by the same developers.
- If the player hits the boss with an AoE/KB move, it might clip out of the pyramid.
- If the boss uses C, it can teleport out the pyramid.
Total Fragments Needed: 14,500
- This Raid is based on Graveyard.
- This Raid contains Dark Users which use Unawakened Dark’s Z and C.
- This Raid contains about 68,000 of enemy drops.
- The boss in this Raid uses Awakened Dark's Z, C and V.
- On Island 2, Dragon users can’t transform if they are inside the cave.
- Sometimes on island 5, NPCs might get stuck on the roof so the player will have to find them up there.
- Sometimes on island 2, NPCs go to the roof of the cave trying to get to the player or their teammate.
Total Fragments Needed: 17,300
- This Raid is based on Kingdom of Rose.
- This Raid contains Spider Users which use Unawakened Spider's C and V.
- This Raid contains about 65,000 of enemy drops.
- The boss in this Raid uses Awakened Spider's X, C and V. The player should be careful, as they can fall off the island. V is a stun and C has auto-aim.
- This is considered as one of the hardest Raids because the boss and the NPCs deal a ton of damage, considering Spider is one of the highest damaging fruits, so it is recommended to have a Buddha user to carry or help the player.
- Sometimes on island 2, the player can get stuck in the bridge by getting hit by Spike NPC’s X (There is a gap in there).
- Players can also get stuck under the houses on island 5 and get teamed on by the boss.
Total Fragments Needed: 14,500
- This Raid is based on Skylands.
- This Raid contains Rumble Users which use Unawakened Rumble's Z and X.
- This Raid contains about 64,000 of enemy drops.
- The boss in this Raid uses Awakened Rumble's Z, X and V. (Remember that V has high stun and heavy damage)
- This is considered as one of the harder raids, and the player is recommended to go in with a Buddha user.
- As Island 4 is split into 2 parts, players will have to run around. The player is recommended to bring a friend along and to each stay on 1 side of the island.
Note: Rubber users will still take damage from the Rumble Users and the Rumble Master
Total Fragments Needed: 14,500
- This Raid is based on Magma Village.
- This Raid contains Magma Users which uses old unawakened Magma's Z and X.
- This Raid contains about 72,000 of enemy drops.
- The boss in this Raid uses Awakened Magma's Z, X and C.
Note: The Magma Raid is considered an "Easy Raid" (some says that it’s easier than flame) but it might be frustrating, due to the boss dealing an enormous amount of damage, and the Magma NPCs Z (Old move) has knock back. Not to mention, the Boss's C skill has stun and knocks the player back a lot. But this is still considered as an easy raid, and a recommended raid for grinding fragments.
Total Fragments Needed: 14,500
- This Raid contains Buddha Users (They spawn in Buddha Form) which uses Unawakened Buddha's X and V.
- This Raid contains about 72,000 of enemy drops.
- The boss in this Raid uses All Awakened Buddha moves except for the F move.
- This is widely considered as the hardest of all of the Normal Raids due to the GIGANTIC amount of health and damage of the boss and Buddha users.
- It is recommended to have a Phoenix partner because regeneration flames can heal the player back to max health (unawakened Buddha can heal from Phoenix's regeneration flames when transformed but awakened Buddha can't).
- If the player has reached a high enough level (1500+ or so), they can successfully solo this raid with Ghoul, Ghoul Mask, and a good Fighting Style such as Sharkman Karate/Water Kung Fu or Death Step
- The Buddha [X] skill used by the Buddha Users deals a large amount of damage, so, the player must be aware of the concerned move and try not to get hit.
- Recommended when on Island 5: Take down all the unawakened Buddha users first or they will drain your health massively. Also, have your other teammates to fight it as a distraction, so the boss will not target you.
- The player can ask to have Rumble, Ice or Dark users help them out so they can stun the boss/NPCs for the player.
- Venom and/or Magma is recommended when doing a Buddha raid because they both have AoE skills which helps defeat the boss faster and safer.
Total Fragments Needed: 18,500
- This Raid is based on the Sea of Treats.
- This Raid contains Dough Users which use Unawakened Dough's Z and V.
- This Raid contains 62,000 worth of enemy drops.
- The boss in this Raid uses Awakened Dough 's X and V.
- This raid is considered as one of the hardest raids in the game due to Dough's V move having high stun.
Total Fragments Needed: 18,500
- This raid is based on Marine Fortress.
- This Raid contains Phoenix Users which use Unawakened Phoenix's Z, and C.
- This Raid contains Phoenix Master which uses Awakened Phoenix's Z, F, Click and C.
- To unlock the ability to host these raids, the player must have 400 mastery on Phoenix, then head to the Sick Scientist near the back of Candy Land. The player can then heal him and then he will let the player buy a Phoenix raid chip for 1,000 or a Physical Fruit that costs 1M or more. (The player can now purchase Advanced Raids at the Mysterious Scientist as well.)
- Island 3 is a floating island, so players need to jump or fly from island 2 on the small flying rocks between them to reach it.
- This raid is considered quite annoying to do due to the C move of the boss having a short cooldown.
- 3 fake Sea Beasts are spawned at island 4 & 5, so watch out for that.

- All NPCs, including the Raid Boss, can be stunned indefinitely by Angel V4 King's Rule effect, as long as the player is in the direct vicinity of these NPCs (although this can be broken if an NPC outside of the aura's range uses a knockback move on the player with Angel and kicks the player away from the stunned NPCs, possibly freeing them if the player isn't quick enough). This makes Angel V4 a possible substitute for Buddha users, meaning it is one of the best races for raids. All the player must do is activate the ability prior to the final island, and they should be able to defeat the boss and other enemies with ease.
- Any Race Awakening is fine as long as you know how to use them properly.
- It is always recommended to look for a Buddha or Phoenix user to carry the raids as their extended range effectively acts as constant AOE attacks on the raid NPCs and, exclusively for Phoenix, their insane healing.
- 1-2 Awakened Buddha users are absolutely recommended for advanced raids, although the player can have skilled players help carry them.
- Try to gather more players if possible as the Raids will become easier.
- Try to group enemies together and hit them with AoE combos.
- Dashing constantly around enemies will cause many of their moves to miss, so it is recommended to do this to minimize damage taken.
- Sky-camping will also make many moves miss the player, although this is more difficult due to the limited Air Jumps. To help with this, you can use teleport/flight moves to boost your height, such as Rumble F, Light F, Dark F, etc.
- Be careful around Bone Breakers and Shockers, as both of them have stun moves that will make the player vulnerable to damage.
- If you are low on health, don't be afraid of running away to heal for a moment. It is very easy to die by trying to squeeze in one more attack at low health.
- For raids, use damage-boosting accessories since health will not normally be much of an issue, but for harder raids, defense or health-boosting accessories are much more helpful.
- Don't bother knocking NPCs into the water, as they will be teleported back to land instantly.
- Un-Awakened Buddha users can heal from Phoenix regeneration flames when transformed but awakened Buddhas cannot.
- In Dough raids, it is recommended to have ranged attackers (For example, Dough) and close-range attackers (Preferably an awakened Buddha).
- The player can join a raid if you're below this level as long as they have access to the Second Sea. If they’re in a raid hosted by a person who can carry, all they need to do is stay away from the bosses and stay on the first island or on the boat once they're killed. Note that once a player dies in a raid, they cannot rejoin it, so be careful even if a player can carry.
- It is not recommended to solo or help carry a raid if you're a lower-level player. In a public server, get four players (including yourself); one person can pay, and at least two others can carry. It's also not recommended to have the same person who's paying for the raid also carry it unless they're a higher-level user.
- The chances of someone willing to host a raid for lower-level players are possible, but not very common in public servers. Unless you have someone else to help, get to Lv. 1100 and host your own raids - Higher-level players are always looking to awaken their own fruits and don't always advertise their raids.
- Angel race users with the King's Rule passive are recommended as they have the ability to continuously stun and damage NPCs and Bosses if they get close to them while they have V4 active. If the player uses Sanguine Art with healing ability combined with Angel V4, it is completely possible to solo raid using auto click with Sanguine Art.
- It is suggested that the player uses the Summon Sea Beast item in a raid if they have it. This will help considerably in filling their Race Awakening bar.
- It is recommended to pay to the Mysterious Scientist using common or uncommon fruits since the player can buy the chip with any fruit including Rocket.
- It is possible to switch Permanent Fruits in the middle of a raid, meaning you can do most of the raid with Buddha, and finish it with another fruit. This is very useful for awakening fruits, as it allows you to do the raids very easily.
Background Musics[]
Title | Description | Composer | Audio |
---|---|---|---|
Global Danger | Music of the Islands 1-4 | Hermann Langschwert | |
Restless Enemy | Music of the Island 5 | Ronald Joseph Paquette |
Trivia[]
- There are currently 12 Blox Fruits that can be awakened. Most of them are Elemental fruits, together with 2 Beast fruits and 2 Natural fruits.
- A raid can have up to eight people. The player will need four people with the Love fruit, and use the [F] move on a person to make them ride the flamingo, after that, just enter the raid capsule and do the raid. If done correctly, there will be eight people in the same raid. However, the 4 people who get ridden cannot damage the raid enemies, at least they can stun them. (Note - this is a glitch, it may be removed in future updates)
- Kitsune fruit also can be used for the glitch above. The will need to use transformation and ally the other person who wants to join, then ask them to ride on the Kitsune user. Then enter the raid capsule and if done correctly, there will be seven people in the raid. (The host must be in untransformed form in order to start the raid)
- Spider Raid and Rumble Raid are close, as seen in the final island of Spider.
- It's possible to go back to the main land of Blox Fruits before a raid ends if the right raid is chosen. However, the player will not be able to use Instinct or use all of their Air Jumps until the raid is over, at which point they will be teleported back to your Home Point.
- Spider, Quake, Buddha and Phoenix are the only awakenable fruits that are not Elemental.
- If the player take place in a raid that is not focused on the fruit that they have equipped, the player will be teleported back to their home point. Otherwise, they'll be teleported to the Awakening Room.
- The Awakening Room is under Kingdom of Rose at Second Sea and under Floating Turtle in the Third Sea.
- The Awakening Room's official name is L'Église de Prophétie which is French, translated into English is "The Church of Prophecy"
- Sometimes, after completing a raid, the player might glitch out and teleport to random places in the map because the game will not know where the player's spawn point is (although this is extremely rare), and then get teleported to the middle of the sea (usually deep into Danger Level 6). This is a game bug.
- Portal's C move has a teleport button called "Raid" which will teleport the player into the raid room.
- For unknown reason, the player cannot Air Jump on a blue square in the Third Sea Raid room.
- There is a bug where the player can get The Flash title when they have 3:30 minutes remaining, not 3:30 minutes taken. (This is the same for The Supersonic title).
- Another bug occurs when standing in the dark blue tube or yellow pad, where the player's character is standing in it, yet it does not light up as green. Thus, trying to join a raid with this bug in effect will cause them to not join the raid. There is also a glitch where you are left on the island instead of being teleported to raid island if someone else is doing the raid with you they could solo and you will still get raid rewards
