Rabbit (formerly known as Mink) is one of the four races that players can spawn with when first joining the game, having a 12.5% chance of being obtained.

Rabbit is widely used as it grants a good speed boost, and is effective in traveling, PvP (particularly when escaping combos), chasing people, and running. This race can be annoying to play against because the Race Awakening's Whirlwind ability has the potential to make people stuck, allowing them to be comboed. However, the increased speed that Rabbit grants when having V4 can be considered excessive when some other races also have similar buffs but have other powerful abilities.

Obtainment

	Stage	Method
	V1	The player has a 33% chance (25% if the player is Ghoul, Draco or Cyborg) to get this race when changing their race, which they can do in 3 different ways: Buying a Race Reroll from the Shop | 90 Buying a Race Reroll from tort | 3,000 Buying a Race Reroll from certain Event NPCs | Event Shop or Death King
	V2	Completing the Alchemist's Quest. To take this quest, the player has to have completed the Colosseum Quest.
	V3	Completing arowe's Quest, which varies depending on the race. Rabbit's V3 quest is: Collect 30 chests. Make sure to grab the quest every time joining the game, it will reset upon rejoining.
	V4	Completing the Temple of Time puzzle, then doing the Trial of Speed. Full steps can be found over at the Race Awakening page.

Changes of Stages

Each stage will give additional buffs and make visual changes to the player's avatar.

V1	Increases the player's movement speed to 1.5x their normal speed.	Gives the player a pair of white rabbit ears.
V2	Speed & Dashing enhanced: Increases the player's movement speed to 2x their normal speed. Increases the player's dash length slightly, also decreases dash energy cost from 30 to 15 energy.	No visual changes.
V3	Unlocks an ability called Agility. While activated: Increases the player's movement speed to 4x their normal speed. Increases the player's dash length slightly. Decreases the cooldown of dashing. Lasts for 6.5 seconds and has a universal 30 second cooldown.	Adds a rabbit tail.

V4 unlocks different abilities depending on what "Gears" are put in. For more information, please refer to Race Awakening.

Ancient Powers: Upon transforming, receive max stats as well as increased damage, speed, and health regeneration by 10%.
Whirlwind: Leaves a tornado when dashing. Tornadoes will trap enemies temporarily.	Upgraded Version: Tornadoes become much stronger.
Lightning Cloak: Dashes become much longer due to electricity.	Upgraded Version: Allows the user to Super Dash by holding the dash button.
Visual changes: The tail grows into a wolf tail. While transformed, hair turns white and becomes messy, and the tail becomes bigger. The tails' idle animation. The transformation animation. The idle animation.

Pros
General Highest mobility out of all Races, allowing the user to dodge attacks and travel long distance with ease. Dashing will technically not cost any energy if the user's Melee stat is above 900. It actually will take a slight bit, but it regenerates faster than it can waste. Very good when paired with Ice or Awakened Magma because of the speed the player gets while running, if the player has a good amount of energy.
Agility (V3) High mobility, able to dodge efficiently and quickly.
Whirlwind (V4) Drains Instinct. Can trap players.
Lightning Cloak (V4) Allows the player to dash in the highest speeds in comparison to any race. (Cyborg could be an exception.) The second tier of this gear grants the player aerial movement and opportunities for surprise attacks or combos.

Cons
General Only provides speed buffs. (Apart from the V4 ability Whirlwind, but it still does little damage and is easily escapable.) The trial maze is difficult to complete. (If not the hardest of all Races other than Draco) Still can be outpaced by other races and fruits, despite being the fastest race.
Agility (V3) Only provides a speed buff
Whirlwind (V4) Can be heavily punished if the user tries to trap an experienced player. Can be Instinct-tricked.
Lightning Cloak (V4) The buffs granted in the preceding versions make this gear fall in comparison to other races. [F] skills or skills that allow the user to have fast paced movement can overshadow this gear's second tier. Cyborg V4's Energy Control gear at its second tier, paired with Skull Guitar's M1 movement glitch could easily outrun the held dash Rabbit's Lightning Cloak's second tier offers.

Trivia

• The speed boosts provided by accessories and Leopard will stack with Rabbit's speed boost.
  • As such, a Rabbit's V3 ability combined with the Pilot Helmet can reach a speed surpassing even Light's [F] (in both versions of the fruit).
• If the user's skin has no hair when using V4, a white hair will automatically appear.
• Before the arrival of Race Awakenings, Rabbit was widely considered the best race for PvP. However, after their introduction, Rabbit fell out of favor and was seen as one of the weaker options. This shift highlighted other races and their V3 abilities' usefulness (such as Angel and Ghoul) which have since become some of the most popular choices in the game.
