Defy the marines and battle pirates!
Create your own pirate crew!
Get a high player bounty!
Description from the game

Pirates is one of the two available teams the game. The player can earn Bounty for this team, as opposed to Honor on the Marines. Pirates tend to get more bounty than marines.

Overview[]

Once a player becomes a pirate, the leaderboard will show how much Bounty they have. Bounty can be obtained by killing other players within a -25% or +1.33% Lv. gap of the player's own level, or defeating bosses. When the player reaches 2.5 million bounty, they will not be able to earn bounty from bosses. Although they’re no main objectives of being one, most pirates tend to Bounty Hunt to gain their bounty for respect. Pirates are more widely picked of the two teams as pirates outnumber the vast majority of Marines in one server. You can assemble a crew to gather bounty and to reach the top 10 leaderboard. Pirates can also lose bounty by dying to a boss/player in combat.

IMPORTANT: A player can only gain bounty from another player if their level difference is less than 25% lower or higher than their level. For example, if a player is level 2600, they can only gain bounty from players that has Level 1950 or more.

Advantages[]

Pirates advantages compared to Marines are:

  1. You can create a crew. (Requirements lv. 300+)
  2. You earn more bounty when you kill another player similar in level.

Disadvantages[]

Pirates disadvantages compared to Marines are:

  1. Ships are more expensive.
  2. They cannot be allied automatically.
  3. Ships are slower.

Tips[]

  • Have people that play with you regularly join your crew; to skip having to ally them every time the individual joins the server. Check your crew to see your bounty and level as well as of others in it.
  • The max is 15 people so make people who join your crew with at least 20 M bounty.

Trivia[]

  • If a Pirate equips the Vice Admiral's Coat, obtained from defeating the Vice Admiral at the Marine Fortress, the Coat will appear with a logo resembling that of Greybeard's coat and red sleeves.
  • Upon reaching a certain amount of Bounty, you will earn Titles for it (Second sea and Third sea only).
  • Upon reaching 2.5M Bounty, the player will no longer get Bounty from killing Bosses. The same goes for Marines, but with Honor.
  • Pirates cannot start a quest to defeat the player with a bounty by clicking on their wanted poster, unlike marines.
  • The NPC who represents the team is the Pirate, who can be found at Pirate Village, in First Sea.
  • The user can obtain two different titles after obtaining a certain amount of Bounty for each respective bounty amount.
    • At 5m Bounty/5m Honor, the user obtains the "Pirate Hunter" and "Bounty Hunter" titles #019 and #020 respectively.
    • At 10m Bounty, the user obtains the "Warlord of the Sea" title #021.
    • At 20m Bounty, the user obtains the "Emperor of the Sea" and "Empress of the Sea" titles #022 and #023 respectively.
