Reason: Inconsistency with Manual of Style's instructions.
The Pirate Recruiter is a Misc NPC that can switch the player from the Marine side to the Pirate side when the player is a Marine without having to quit and rejoin the game, eliminating unnecessary hassle.
When the player switches to Marine/Pirate, their character will be resetted before joining the opposite team. This means that if the player has an item (for example a Blox Fruit or the God's Chalice) in their hotbar and switch to Marine/Pirate, that item will be lost.
Appearance[]
The Pirate Recruiter wears red-sneakered shoes, long black shorts, and the red pirate shirt attire. He also wears the Deluxe Bandit Mask, has cobalt-like hair, and has an X-shaped scar on the right side of his face.
Dialogue[]
Talking to him will trigger the dialogue "Would you like to change your team to Pirates? Stop obeying all of these rules and fight for your own treasures!"
Locations[]
This NPC can found in:
- To the side of a house on the Marine Starter Island (First Sea)
- For the Kingdom of Rose, he resides to the rear village relative to the Mansion (Second Sea)
- On Floating Turtle towards the bottom right of the Mansion (Third Sea)
Notes[]
- If the players switches to a being pirate, they will not lose Honor. It will be saved for when they choose to be a Marine again.
- Players can only switch sides when they do not have the combat tag on them.
Trivia[]
- As of now, there is a glitch that causes the user to be trapped in a loop of resetting continuously after switching sides through him, so you should only switch to pirate when absolutely necessary.
- There is also currently another glitch which causes the ally button to disappear if the player is switching from Marines. Unless you are already in a crew with someone, the player won't be able ally with anyone until they leave the game.
