Hi there! If you're new to this wiki (or fandom) and plan on making an account, please check out our Rules page, for information on new accounts and some rules to follow.
Phoenix can be used to heal or support allies along with the large AoE it brings. In addition, this is also the fruit that consumes the most energy. Phoenix is known to be decently good for sea events because of the awakened [F] move (Swift Flight), making the user able to fly and do small damage over time. Unawakened Phoenix is not recommended for sea events, as only the [Z] move and [C] move can damage them.
"The Phoenix" title #041 will be granted upon awakening at least one move of this fruit.

Unlocking Phoenix Raid
The Phoenix fruit has a unique awakening method that differs from other fruits. Normally, players must purchase a chip from the Mysterious Scientist, but the process for this fruit is different. Here’s a guide on how to obtain it:
The user charges up a flaming blow and releases them forward to make a powerful mid-range attack with high knockback, Similar to Gravity's [Z] move.

The user covers themselves in a huge bubble, healing themselves based on how long the move is held. The bubble will also act as a barrier that damages and knocks back anything that comes close enough. The bubble gets bigger once in transformation but does not deal more damage.
An exception to this is players who are currently allied to the user, which will also heal along with the user.
Heal does not increase with Fruit stat because it heals based on max HP, with ~2% healing based on max HP per tick, and and the time between each healing tick is ~0.24s.
Has a 12 second cooldown.

If the user comes into contact with an enemy, they will bring them up into the air using a tornado-like attack made out of phoenix flames, then crash back onto the enemy, slamming them to the ground, dealing AoE explosion damage with a large hitbox.(Only when transformed will it leave flames on the ground that deal tick damage). Launching into the air without dealing damage means that an enemy has not been caught in the attack. It has a 9 second cooldown and consumes 40 energy.

Stops energy regeneration while active.
If the user stops mid-air, blue and yellow flames will rain down from their wings, doing small tick damage.
Unlike other Beast fruits, when the user presses F in transformed form, the user will dash forward and claw at the enemy a few times before launching them away with a small explosion, this can be dodged. Unlike other moves, this move allows them to move even when they are still holding it.

The user dashes forwards. When hit on an enemy, the user slashes the enemy in a barrage of claws, setting them on yellow fire, stunning them. However, the move can be dodged with instinct, though this will only negate the damage, the enemy will still get stunned, similar to Control's [C] move. Even though this move is short ranged and has a tiny hitbox, it is easy to hit people with because the user can move freely while holding the move, similar to Love fruit.

The following results are tested on NPCs. The variables that were used to test include: 600 mastery, 2550 points on Fruit Stats and no accessories.
Please note: Damage may not be 100% accurate, so it may vary.
Can knockback enemies making it good for escaping.
[X] Regeneration Flames
As long as the user has enough energy, it is hard to be killed because this move can heal the player even better than Heavenly Blood. (That doesn't mean they will be completely immortal.)
[C] Fast Kick
Decent mobility.
Extremely short cooldown.
[V] Full Transformation
TBA
[F] Hybrid Flight
Decent speed.
Cons (Normal)
General
Lack of stun moves.
Moves are hard to hit.
Has only 2 actual attack skills.
Not very good for grinding because it is a Beast fruit and not a Elemental fruit, it's also bad for Sea Events.
Transformation drains more energy as player moves, risking low energy or health if snapped out, hindering escape. Using the Cyborg race can prevent this.
Good for raids, as it can be a support fruit due to its healing capabilities.

Impractical to be used as an offensive move in PvP, despite dealing damage.
[C] Flame Exodus
TBA
[V] Blazing Plumage
Unable to be used, or Untransforms you if you have less than 33% of your Max Energy
[F] Swift Flight
Hard to hit.
Trivia
Currently, Buddha and Phoenix are the only beast-type fruits to have an awakening.
Because the Damaging Flame passive and Infinite Flight passive on the F move, the user can stall above Enemies and get them damaged, making it an ideal way to farm money/mastery.
Smoke also technically has an infinite damage move, but it is harder to use.
This is the first fruit to have a Mastery Requirement in order to obtain a chip for a raid.
Currently, Phoenix is one of the fruits to have ranged M1s.
The unawakened [X] move somehow heals faster than the awakened version.
This is the first ever fruit to possess HP benefits. (excluding pre-nerf Buddha)
If the player uses awakened [C] or [Z] while using the unawakened transformation, the transformation will be cancelled.
Interestingly, the awakened version loses the earpiece on the flight move, and attacks.
If the player starts using the transformed [X] move before being kicked out of transformation via low energy, they will shoot the transformed version instead of the normal [X] move.
Phoenix's V2 [X] move can be used with the V1 [V] move. If used with transformation, it will make the user's speed become a little slower.
Holding the unawakened [X] move is a highly recommended way to get the title "Empty Vessel".
This is the third fruit that can transform without a fury bar.
