Phoenix (formerly known as Bird: Phoenix) is a Legendary Beast-type Blox Fruit that costs MoneyIcon 1,800,000 or RobuxIcon 2,000 from the Blox Fruit Dealer.

Phoenix can be used to heal or support allies along with the large AoE it brings. In addition, this is also the fruit that consumes the most energy. Phoenix is known to be decently good for sea events because of the awakened [F] move (Swift Flight), making the user able to fly and do small damage over time. Unawakened Phoenix is not recommended for sea events, as only the [Z] move and [C] move can damage them.

Awakening

Phoenix costs FragmentIcon 18,500 to fully awaken.

"The Phoenix" title #041 will be granted upon awakening at least one move of this fruit.

Unlocking Phoenix Raid

The Phoenix fruit has a unique awakening method that differs from other fruits. Normally, players must purchase a chip from the Mysterious Scientist, but the process for this fruit is different. Here’s a guide on how to obtain it:

  1. Obtain 400+ mastery on Phoenix.
  2. Talk to Sick Scientist, who is located at the Sea of Treats. The Raid Chip can also be purchased through the Mysterious Scientist, even in the Second Sea, after the player has purchased it at least one time from the Sick Scientist.
    • This NPC will sell the player the Phoenix raid chip for FragmentIcon 1,000 or a physical fruit worth at least MoneyIcon 1,000,000 or more.
    • Purchasing a chip with FragmentIcon Fragments has a 2-hour cooldown.
    • The quest is permanent, so when the player switches to another fruit, the player can still buy the Phoenix Raid Chip.

Note: other players can still join other players Phoenix raids and awaken Phoenix without having 400+ mastery.

  • An exception to this is players who are currently allied to the user, which will also heal along with the user.
  • Heal does not increase with Fruit stat because it heals based on max HP, with ~2% healing based on max HP per tick, and and the time between each healing tick is ~0.24s.

The user dashes forwards. When hit on an enemy, the user slashes the enemy in a barrage of claws, setting them on yellow fire, stunning them. However, the move can be dodged with instinct, though this will only negate the damage, the enemy will still get stunned, similar to Control's [C] move. Even though this move is short ranged and has a tiny hitbox, it is easy to hit people with because the user can move freely while holding the move, similar to Love fruit.

The following results are tested on NPCs. The variables that were used to test include: 600 mastery, 2550 points on Fruit Stats and no accessories.

    Trivia

    • Currently, Buddha and Phoenix are the only beast-type fruits to have an awakening.
    • Because the Damaging Flame passive and Infinite Flight passive on the F move, the user can stall above Enemies and get them damaged, making it an ideal way to farm money/mastery.
      • Smoke also technically has an infinite damage move, but it is harder to use.
    • This is the first fruit to have a Mastery Requirement in order to obtain a chip for a raid.
    • Currently, Phoenix is one of the fruits to have ranged M1s.
    • The unawakened [X] move somehow heals faster than the awakened version.
      • This is the first ever fruit to possess HP benefits. (excluding pre-nerf Buddha)
    • If the player uses awakened [C] or [Z] while using the unawakened transformation, the transformation will be cancelled.
    • Interestingly, the awakened version loses the earpiece on the flight move, and attacks.
    • If the player starts using the transformed [X] move before being kicked out of transformation via low energy, they will shoot the transformed version instead of the normal [X] move.
    • Phoenix's V2 [X] move can be used with the V1 [V] move. If used with transformation, it will make the user's speed become a little slower.
    • Holding the unawakened [X] move is a highly recommended way to get the title "Empty Vessel".
    • This is the third fruit that can transform without a fury bar.
    • Sea Beasts will appear in a Phoenix raid.
    • Paired with Angel V3, the awakened (X) Blue Flames can have the fastest regeneration in the game.
