Grants regenerative abilities, powerful fire-based attacks, and the ability to transform into full body Phoenix.
Description in Shop

Phoenix (formerly known as Bird: Phoenix) is a Legendary Beast-type Blox Fruit that costs $ 1,800,000 or R$ 2,000 from the Blox Fruit Dealer.

Phoenix grants the user the ability to manipulate blue and yellow flames with magical properties, allowing them to damage but also regenerate. It is most known for its ability to regenerate health quickly, healing both the user and nearby allies, which makes Phoenix a tough opponent. More importantly, Phoenix grants the user the ability to transform into a full-body phoenix, giving them increased defense and flight. Phoenix is powerful for both grinding and PvP due to its large AoE attacks, long stuns, and high damage. However, it also has multiple disadvantages, such as a heavy reliance on the user's energy and range limitations.

Awakening

Phoenix costs f 18,500 to fully awaken.

"The Phoenix" title #041 will be granted upon awakening at least one move of this fruit.

Unlocking Phoenix Raid

Phoenix has a unique awakening method that differs from other fruits. Normally, players must purchase a chip from the Mysterious Scientist, but the process for this fruit is different. The player will need to:

  1. Obtain 400+ mastery on Phoenix.
  2. Talk to Sick Scientist, who is located at the Sea of Treats. The Raid Chip can also be purchased through the Mysterious Scientist, even in the Second Sea, after the player has purchased it at least one time from the Sick Scientist.

Note: Players can still join Phoenix raids hosted by other players and awaken Phoenix without having 400+ mastery, so the user can ask other players for help if they haven’t gotten 400+ mastery.

Abilities

Name Description Showcase
Reincarnation Feathers
The user gains the ability to transform into a blue and yellow phoenix. While transformed, the user passively consumes 10 energy per second. In return, the user gains 15% damage reduction and is able to fly freely. All attacks are enhanced in range, damage and hitboxes. The user's transformation will be canceled if their health or energy gets below 33%.
Blazing Phoenix's Flames (V2)
While using the awakened [F] move, small blue and yellow flames appear and descend from the user, and damage anything beneath them.

  • However, the move can be dodged with Instinct, though this will only negate the damage, and the enemy will still get stunned, similar to Control's [C] move. Even though this move is short ranged and has a tiny hitbox, it is easy to hit people with because the user can move freely while holding the move, similarly to Love fruit.

Note: The [X] move's energy drain is percentage-based, and the amount of energy it consumes is based on the user's total amount of energy. Here's a more detailed analysis (tested with Max (2650) Melee stats - 13345 energy):

    • Using unawakened [X] move drains the users energy in around 22 seconds, consuming approximately 606 energy per second.
    • Using awakened [X] move drains the users energy in around 23.75 seconds, consuming approximately 562 energy per second.

The results may not be 100% correct and can vary each try.

    Trivia

    • Currently, Buddha and Phoenix are the only Beast-type fruits to have an awakening.
    • Because of the Phoenix Flames and Feathers' Immortality passive on the [F] move, the user can stall above enemies and damage them, making it an ideal way to AFK farm money/mastery.
      • Smoke and Blizzard also technically have infinite damage moves, but their moves need to be held.
    • Phoenix is the first fruit to have a Mastery Requirement in order to obtain a chip for a raid.
    • Currently, Phoenix is one of the few fruits to have ranged M1s.
    • The unawakened [X] move somehow heals faster than the awakened version.
      • Phoenix is the first ever fruit to possess HP benefits. (excluding pre-nerf Buddha)
    • The transformed Phoenix resembles a creature found in Chinese myths known as Fenghuang. The Phoenix is supposed to be a symbol of grace and virtue, an immortal bird that represented beauty. Its Blox Fruits counterpart, however, depicts the Phoenix as a violent and fiery beast. This depiction is closer to the Western Phoenix, despite having the traits and features of the Fenghuang.
    • [F] Swift Flight can be used to damage Sharks or the Leviathan while other players are attacking just by still staying on top.
    • If the player uses awakened [C] or [Z] while using the unawakened transformation, the transformation will be cancelled.
      • Interestingly, the awakened version loses the earpiece on the flight move, and attacks.
    • If the player starts using the transformed [X] move before being kicked out of transformation via low energy, they will shoot the transformed version instead of the normal [X] move.
    • Awakened Phoenix's [X] move can be used with the V1 [V] move. If used with transformation, it will make the user's speed become a little slower.
    • Holding the unawakened [X] move is a highly recommended way to get the title "Empty Vessel".
    • Phoenix is the first fruit that can transform without a fury meter, the second being Leopard, the third being Mammoth and the fourth being Yeti.
    • Sea Beasts will appear in a Phoenix raid, specifically on the 4th and 5th islands. These Sea Beasts do not drop anything and are optional to fight during the raid, as only the enemies on the raid island are required to progress to the next island. However, it is advised to defeat these Sea Beasts if possible, as they pose as extreme threats to those on the raid island. Fruits such as Buddha and Yeti are recommended against these Sea Beasts.
    • When paired with Blood Siphon (Gear 2), the Lei accessory, gathering 5–8 enemies then using Skull Guitar [X] with the Vampiric III enchant, and activating [X] Blue Flames can result in the fastest health regeneration within the game.
    • Although Phoenix and Portal share the robux price of ( R$ 2,000), they do not share the same Money $ value. Phoenix is valued at $ 1,800,000 and Portal is valued at $ 1,900,000.
    • In awakened form, due to the 33% hp rule, if the player resets their character or dies while transformed, they will untransform before dying, unlike other beast fruits.
    • Phoenix is the only fruit with a transformation that can be ended in a way other than emptying a fury meter. (This way being having below 33% hp or energy).
    • Phoenix (V2) is a balance between hunting bounty/PvP and grinding, as of short cooldown for most skills.
