Pain (formerly known as Paw) is a Legendary Natural-type Blox Fruit that costs MoneyIcon 2,300,000 or RobuxIcon 2,200 from the Blox Fruit Dealer.

Pain is rarely seen in PvP combat, though it possesses a variety of long-ranged moves. Pain is mostly used by sword or gun users and has a low value in trading.

Overview[]

Pros
General
  • High combo potential.
  • Works well regardless of stat distribution.
  • Amazing for PvP and bounty hunting if used correctly.
  • Reasonably fast moves, except [C] Pain Nuke, which has a bit of startup time.
  • Most moves have long ranges.
  • All moves are multi-target, except [V] Torture.
[Z] Heavy Pain
  • Extremely high range.
  • Good stun (it needs to be hit in the torso).
[X] Pain Barrage
  • Good stun (it needs to be hit in the torso).
  • Good for draining Instinct dodges.
[C] Pain Nuke
  • Very large hitbox.
  • Good range.
[V] Torture
  • Good range.
  • Has a large hitbox; sometimes it lands without even being near the opponent.
  • Blinds and distorts the vision of the enemy, briefly stuns them, and breaks Instinct for a significant duration of time.
  • Good Instinct Break move, due to enemies taking continuous tick damage after being hit by the move. Some sword and gun users use it solely for this reason.
    • It may be more effective to use than other fruits like Ice if not a fruit main, as Ice's combos can easily be Instinct-tricked (unless they have Cyborg V3), while [V] Torture makes combos impossible to Instinct-trick.
[F] Self Repel
  • The teleportation range is longer than other fruits with similar moves.
  • Has a short cooldown which makes it good for PvP and escaping one-shot combos.

Cons
General
  • Requires good aim and prediction skills.
    • Not recommended for PvP beginners.
  • Not good for fruit main.
  • All moves are hard to land in aerial battles and slow.
  • Not good for grinding.
  • Low value in trading.
[Z] Heavy Pain
  • Small hitboxes.
[X] Pain Barrage
  • Small hitboxes.
[C] Pain Nuke
  • Long start-up.
  • High knockback.
[V] Torture
  • Single-target.
[F] Self Repel
  • TBA

Trivia[]

  • Pain is quite a controversial fruit as some say it's good for PvP, while others say it's a bad fruit in general, It's really a matter of skill and preference. It’s also a very hard fruit to master in PvP, which is why it is used in skill builds.
  • Similar to Barrier, Pain is one of few fruits whose moves have never been changed, aside from ability and fruit renaming.
  • Along with a few other fruits, Pain was in the Fruit Awakening Strawpoll of Update 14. However, Rumble received the most votes, resulting in Pain getting no awakening.
  • Pain's [F] Self Repel have the same sound effect as Superhuman [C] Conqueror Gun.
