It may be more effective to use than other fruits like Ice if not a fruit main, as Ice's combos can easily be Instinct-tricked (unless they have Cyborg V3), while [V] Torture makes combos impossible to Instinct-trick.
[F] Self Repel
The teleportation range is longer than other fruits with similar moves.
Has a short cooldown which makes it good for PvP and escaping one-shot combos.
Cons
General
Requires good aim and prediction skills.
Not recommended for PvP beginners.
Not good for fruit main.
All moves are hard to land in aerial battles and slow.
Pain is quite a controversial fruit as some say it's good for PvP, while others say it's a bad fruit in general, It's really a matter of skill and preference. It’s also a very hard fruit to master in PvP, which is why it is used in skill builds.
Similar to Barrier, Pain is one of few fruits whose moves have never been changed, aside from ability and fruit renaming.
