Obtainment[]
To unlock the ability to craft the Monster Magnet, the player first needs to craft the Shark Tooth Necklace and the Terror Jaw.
Once the requirements are met, the Monster Magnet can be crafted through the Shark Hunter at the cost of:
2 Terror Eyes- 8 Electric Wings
- 20 Fool's Gold
- 10 Shark Tooth

The Monster Magnet is used to spawn an Anchored Terrorshark, a special type of Terrorshark which drops the Shark Anchor with a 100% chance. Once the user spawns this special Terrorshark, the player will lose the Monster Magnet and see System Message saying:
Your <Monster Magnet> has attracted an irregular beast...
Notes[]
- If at least one person in the Sea Exploration Group has the Monster Magnet, there is a chance that a Terrorshark will have a Shark Anchor.
- If an Anchored Terrorshark spawns, only the person who spawned it gets their Monster Magnet consumed.
- If the player has already received the Shark Anchor, they will still be able to craft the Monster Magnet, although now it will just lie in their inventory. It will still be able to summon the raid boss, but this will be useless.
- If the player dies to an Anchored Terrorshark, it will consume their Monster Magnet and the player will have to craft it again. However, if the player deals enough damage to it before they die, other players can kill it for the player if they are still in the Terrorshark area.
- The Terrorshark will chase the player until they are dead, out of range from the Terrorshark's area, or until it despawns, which happens 15 minutes after it spawns.
- As long as it is not used, the Monster Magnet will not disappear from the player's inventory even if they leave the game.

- True to its name, the fluke on this item features two colors, red and blue, resembling a magnet.
- There is a bug where the Anchored Terrorshark may appear invisible to other players.
- The Monster Magnet is the first material that can be crafted, the second being the Volcanic Magnet.
