Mirage Island is a Sea Event. This is a special island that functions differently from all the other islands.
The Advanced Fruit Dealer, and Blue Gear for Race Awakening can be found here. The Advanced Fruit Dealer will spawn somewhere on the island.
Spawning[]
To get a Mirage Island to spawn, the player must be sailing a Boat in Sea Danger Levels 1-6, although it is more recommended to look for Mirage Island in Sea Danger Levels 4-5. Once spawned. The Mirage Island will despawn if:
- 15 minutes have passed.
- The player who spawned it is not near the island.
- This also means that it will despawn if the player disconnects.
After Mirage Island despawns, there is no cooldown for it to spawn the Mirage Island again. It can only be found in the Third Sea and is one of the rarest sea events to occur. Each boat in your exploration group increases the chance to find one a little bit, though this island is still extremely rare.
Mirage Island can spawn anytime, day or night.
Race Awakening[]
This requires night time AND the Sealed King quest to work.
The process to get Race Awakening (Race V4) continues on this island. The player needs to have a Mirror Fractal and then go to the highest point of the island (it doesn't have to actually be the highest mountain; it can also be the mountain in the middle of the island) and wait until night. After that, activate the player's Race Ability and look at the moon for about 10-15 seconds and it will shine, giving the message that "Your <Mirror Fractal> has resonated with the moon" (NOTE: THIS DOES NOT TAKE AWAY the player's Mirror Fractal). After that, the player has to find the blue glowing gear before the night ends or the island despawns. The player should get the message, <You hear a distant chiming from the Temple of Time> Once the player touches it, they will now be able to pull the lever at the Temple of Time.
Mirage Hunting Tips & Guides[]
- It is highly recommended to look out for the Mirage Island in a crew, scattered in their own respective ships. Keep in mind that, as of Update 20, Mirage's spawn rate will increase based on the number of ships in the area, NOT the number of players in a ship.
- The player can simply ignore almost every Sea event in these levels, except the Terrorshark Raid Boss. It will be extremely irritating, especially if the player is at a low level, as it will keep attacking their ship, doing tremendous loads of damage unless they attack it first. If the player can't win against it, it's better to reset and try again, as this raid boss will not leave the player alone until they or it dies.
- Portal users are an exception; using their [V] forces the Terrorshark to despawn when engaged in combat.
- The requirements for spawning the Mirage Island have changed since Update 20, the differences being that the player has to be in a Sea Danger Level and have to deal with more Sea Events, like the Terrorsharks that can really slow the player down.
- It will take anywhere from 15 minutes to 3 hours to find Mirage Island, it's highly recommended to get a friend with the player while searching to increase the spawn rates.
- The player does not need to panic if they have found Mirage Island during daytime. Simply waiting for night will not take long enough to despawn it. In the worst-case scenario, the player will still have around 5 minutes to search for the gear.
- It is always recommended to use a strong ship with high health points in danger levels, as the player will be facing quite a few irritating sea events in these Sea Levels.
- A good example of this would be the Lantern or Guardian due to both of them having high health.
- The Sentinel is recommended to use in here as the Mirage's spawn rate will not be affected once it is in its flying mode, making it perfectly usable.
- The Miracle works perfectly, too. Because of its fast speed and small hitbox, you can easily dodge cannons and other stuff. The fast speed allows it to make a quick escape from anything from piranhas to sharks.
Tips[]
- As of Update 21, the player can use the Kitsune Mask accessory to make it easier to see in Danger Level 6 (????) making it easier to find the island. Once the player arrives, they can switch to Pale Scarf.
- If the island is too dark to search, the player can enable fast mode, which will remove the majority of the darkness and smoke. It is recommended to use the M1 of Soul Guitar, Awakened Magma's Volcanic Storm [V], awakened Buddha's Shift [Z] In first person, awakened Light [X] or Kabucha [X] because these moves can glow light for a certain distance to help the player see more clearly.
- The island will always spawn in the direction that the player's boat is facing. This is the same for Ship Raids and Sea Beasts.
- Locate the highest point (shown with the red dot in the image to the right) before approaching the island closely enough that it grows dark, and then land directly in front of it.
- While the player is trying to find the Blue Gear, if the player goes out of the island where the fog isn’t present and looks at the island, the player will be able to see the Blue Gear clearly.
- It can spawn without the boat moving as long as the player is sitting on the boat itself.
- It is recommended to have at least 2-3 people to find the Advanced Fruit Dealer, as it is hard to see on the island.
- Skip Sea Beasts and Ship Raids as it will take a while to defeat them, and it is better to look for Mirage Island.
- Mirage Island can spawn anywhere, even thousands of meters outside the map.
- Using Shift Lock while looking at the moon can help the Mirror Fractal resonate, as long as the player is on the peak.
- If the player has a Private Server, it is recommended to use it to find a Mirage Island.
- If the player has the extension RoShade, it is recommended to enable Rim Light, as it kind of removes the fog and the player would be able to see easier.
- The player should use Shipwright and 3-4 people to make it easy to repair the boat if it gets damaged, making finding Mirage Island much easier to do in 1 attempt.
- The player can trigger the Mirror Fractal to resonate in both the highest peak, and even trees.
- There is a higher chance of Mirage Island spawning during a full moon, so make sure to check the moon cycle.
- The player should try to have at least 1 person with the gear and 1 without the gear as this may increase their chance of finding the Blue Gear.
- Sometimes, although not always, Sea Beasts have a chance to despawn Mirage if they spawn too close to it. This chance is greatly increased with Rumbling Waters. To prevent this, it's highly recommended to enter Mirage Island upon spawning it as soon as possible.
Notes[]
- This island contains several Fragment Chests (giving 100-300) and Diamond Chests (giving 7,000-13,000).
- Keep in mind that if the player has already found the Blue Gear then they cannot see it anymore, so only people who have not gotten it have the ability to find the gear themselves. The player can acquire help by letting an experienced and intelligent player go to spawn locations, and the player who has not collected the Blue Gear can check if it is there or not.
- It is recommended that the player search in Danger Levels 4-5 as the visibility in Danger Level 6 is not present in levels 4-5, making it easier to locate the Blue Gear. It is also clearer in those danger levels and closer to the islands so the player can inform people about the island, and they can come quickly if needed.
- When the player is on the island, they will have their vision reduced during daytime, and severe darkness during the night.
- The player can find an Advanced Fruit Dealer in Mirage Island. The Advanced Fruit Dealer functions the same as Blox Fruit Dealer, but has a separate stock that changes every two hours instead of four (which is why we won't be documenting the Mirage Stock) and a minimum stock of seven instead of three. The Advanced Fruit Dealer can spawn anywhere randomly on the island.
- As of the Valentine's Update, the player does not require a full moon to spawn a Mirage Island and resonate their Mirror Fractal with the moon, the player only requires it to be night-time.

- This island used to have its OST (Original Soundtrack) removed due to a bug. But was later fixed and re-added after a bug fix.
- The player cannot destroy any trees on this island.
- While using The Sentinel or Miracle, the Mirage Island doesn't affect the height level of the flying boat.
- This is an exception if the player found Treasure Island, Haunted Shipwreck or Frozen Dimension.
