Mastery allows the user of a certain weapon, Blox Fruit, etc, to unlock more moves and deal more damage using said item. By leveling up on Mastery, the user is able to obtain more moves of said weapon or Blox Fruit, which are usually stronger than their former skills.
High Mastery also results in a boost in stat points, scaling on a 3M = 1SP pattern. Leveling up on an item that suits the player the most is undoubtedly a great thing to do.
Obtainment[]
Mastery is usually obtained through defeating enemies. For bosses, A large amount of Mastery given when they are defeated. Raid bosses can also give Mastery upon defeating them, but not all of them drop Mastery.
Obtaining Tips[]
First Sea[]
- Kill the enemies at Fountain City, specifically Galley Captains.
Second Sea[]
- Jump between servers, then find and defeat the Awakened Ice Admiral.
- An alternative for this is to server hop and defeat the Smoke Admiral.
Third Sea[]
- Go to Sea of Treats, specifically to Ice Cream Land, and defeat the Cake Queen.
- An alternative to this is to go to Chocolate Land and kill either Cocoa Warriors and Chocolate Bar Battlers.
Notes[]
- Players constantly jumping servers to grind mastery from bosses is slower than grinding mastery for enemies, so grinding is still the most effective and optimal method when needing a lot of Mastery.
- Cake Queen is the boss that drops the most Mastery in the game, which is around 2,200,000 EXP.

- The record for fastest Mastery grind is 13.82 seconds set by Uzoth.
- Currently, the maximum amount of Mastery a weapon can have is 600.

- Instead of gaining 1 point every 3 Mastery levels, the player will gain 1 point every 4 levels and a small % based on their Player Level (up to 10% of their player Level at 600 Mastery).
