Item Description in Inventory

The Magma Blaster (formerly known as Refined Musket) is a Rare gun.

Although only being a Rare gun, the Magma Blaster is extremely strong, being able to deal the highest consecutive damage of any move (mostly due to the [X] Magmatic Pressure).

Despite it's strengths, the gun also has a relatively small range, and due to the [X] lacking stun, combos are often extremely escapable, and hard to pull off.

Appearance

The Magma Blaster resembles a sawed-off double-barreled shotgun, featuring a dark metallic finish on the barrels and a red handle. The weapon also contains glowing orange and yellow elements, representing the magma coursing inside, giving it a molten, volatile appearance.

Obtainment

The Magma Blaster can be obtained with a low chance after defeating the Magma Admiral in Magma Village.

Pros
General Decent for grinding. Not very difficult to obtain. Very high damage. Deals the most damage out of every Gun in the game. All attacks are multi-target.
[TAP] Normal Attack Good damage. Damage increases the closer the enemy is to the user. Multi-target, unlike other Gun M1s.
[Z] Scorching Burst Good range. Medium AoE.
[X] Magmatic Pressure Extremely high damage. Decent range. Locks and slightly stuns target. Can break Instinct.

Cons
General High mastery requirements for a First Sea weapon. Considerably low range for a gun. Hard to hit.
[TAP] Normal Attack Damage worsens the further away the enemy is from the user.
[Z] Scorching Burst Easy to avoid in the air. Below-average damage. Can be dodged with Instinct.
[X] Magmatic Pressure Easy to avoid. Almost no stun. Enemies can use their attacks even if they're getting hit.

Trivia

• Despite being made of magma, one of the materials used to upgrade the Magma Blaster is Fish Tail, which is a material related to water.
• The Magma Blaster's aiming animation is the same as the Bizarre Revolver and some other guns.
• Although the Magma Blaster can be obtained by killing Magma Admiral, he does not use this gun.
