Pros
Strong overall defense (except against Blox Fruits). Very effective during Sea Events. High resistance against sea damage. Allows non-Shark players to survive in water for about 55 seconds instead of 5. Highest Health buff of all accessories. Highly useful for fighting the Leviathan, as its attacks can push players into the water.

Cons
Very hard to obtain. Sea damage protection is useless for Shark users, though they still benefit from the health and damage reduction. No speed buffs make it slower to use, although the Rabbit and Ghoul races can compensate for this.

The Leviathan Shield and the Dark Coat are the only Mythical accessories obtainable without events.
It is currently the only Mythical accessory that can be crafted with Materials.
It is the only Mythical accessory that can be obtained through Sea Events.
It is the only accessory that provides damage reduction against sea damage.
