The Kitsune Shrine is a shrine where players can interact with a boulder engraved with the transformed Kitsune's silhouette to obtain various in-game items.
Location[]
The Kitsune Shrine is located on the Kitsune Island.
Shrine Event[]
Upon interacting with the Kitsune Shrine, a cutscene will be shown of a light blue beam firing out of the middle of the Kitsune Island along with Azure Embers spreading out. The Full Moon will be turned into a Blue Moon for the next 5 minutes.
The player has 5 minutes to collect Azure Embers around the island, and they spawn every 30 seconds in batches of 2-5. They spawn around the player and follow the player around at a distance. During this event, the player can also offer their Azure Embers to the Kitsune Shrine for rewards. When 55 seconds remain for the shrine event, the System Message "The Blue Moon is beginning to fade..." will be shown to the player. Once the timer runs out and the event has concluded, the System Message "The Blue Moon fades away..." will be shown and the player can no longer interact with the Kitsune Shrine nor collect Azure Embers.
Offering a higher number of Azure Embers to the Kitsune Shrine increases the chance of getting better rewards. The maximum amount of Azure Embers that a player can carry is 25. Offering less than 10 Azure Embers to the Kitsune Shrine will return the message "The Shrine is displeased with your offering."
Obtainable Items[]
All of the Azure Embers in the player's inventory will be offered to the Kitsune Shrine, then, the player will be rewarded with one of the following possible rewards:

Tips & Tricks[]
- Azure Embers spawn every 30 seconds in front of the player, so a wise way to collect them is by making the player's character face the sea to get ready.
- The player can Flash Step onto Azure Embers to collect them instantly. Although it can be very hard to aim accurately as they are always moving, the player can use Kitsune Ribbon and Human (V2) as it shortens Flash Step cooldown.
- The player can also use Lightning's awakened [F] move to collect the Azure Embers (Works the same like Flash Step), however, if the player does not aim it correctly, they will teleport behind it.
- The player can try to only get 15 Azure Embers, as the chances of getting something rare will be quite similar to having more than 15.
- After giving 15 Azure Embers, the player still has time to catch 15 more Azure Embers.
- The best method to catch Azure Embers is by using either transformed Gas, Yeti, Mammoth, Buddha, T-Rex, Kitsune, Ice (awakened), or Dragon (West) and dashing towards them repeatedly to catch them as they float around and away from the player. It is also recommended to use Flash Step occasionally.
- Kitsune may be the best option out of the seven options, as it is not too large, but large enough to collect embers and pass through the obstacles of the Kitsune Island. Kitsune also increases movement speed and allows running on water when transformed.
- Using Rabbit's Race Awakening along with these Blox Fruits can even further increase the player's speed, although this might make the user too fast.
- Buddha’s awakened [Z] and [F] abilities are also an excellent option, especially when paired with the Pilot Helmet for more speed, or the Shark Tooth Necklace/Dino Hood for more dash distance, and mobility moves combined with Godhuman and Yama for mobility.
- Ice's awakened [F] ability paired with the Pilot Helmet is also a good option, as it provides enough speed to outrun Azure Embers.
- Another option for getting Azure Embers is using awakened Phoenix' dash abilities, being [F] (when transformed), [C], and [M1].
- Ice and Magma (awakened)'s water-walking abilities are also highly recommended, as the player can "lead" Azure Embers to the water, and they will float down to sea level, so the player can simply run and/or dash into them.
- Another good but slightly unreliable option is to use Portal's [M1] moves to catch the Azure Embers, as they fly away from the player. However, the player should keep in mind that using Portal's [Z] or [F] moves will most likely teleport them in front of Azure Embers, leading to them changing direction.
- Love and Spirit are considered bad options due their slow flight speed.
- Phoenix is a good choice as it can fly quickly along with the M1 dash from the awakened version allowing the user to catch embers easily. However, this can be tricky as the user can miss very easily when using the M1 dash.
- Death Step, Godhuman, Dragon Talon, Sharkman Karate, and Electric Claw are the best fighting styles to catch Azure Embers due to their dash abilities.
- The player can use Portal's [V] ability to collect Azure Embers, because the Azure Embers spawn on the ground of the Dimensional Rift.
- Although Yama is slower than the Cursed Dual Katana, the mobility provided by it is more effective for chasing Azure Embers, considering both of its abilities are mobility-based and they do not teleport the player.
- After the player interacts with the Kitsune Shrine, the player can go towards the sea and only then press 'Touch Statue'. This way, when the Azure Embers spawn, they will immediately spawn in the sea instead of spawning on the island and possibly clipping through the objects.
- A strategy the player can use to find the Kitsune Shrine is to get to Sea Danger Level 6 and stand on a rock away from their boat to avoid sea events spawn and go back to their boat when it’s almost nighttime.
Notes[]
- The shrine event continues even when the Full Moon ends, similar to a Race Awakening trial.
- After offering Azure Embers to Kitsune Shrine, the player can continue collecting Azure Embers if there is still time left in the shrine event.
- The player can only offer their Azure Embers to Kitsune Shrine during a Blue Moon. They can no longer interact with Kitsune Shrine after a Blue Moon.
- Azure Embers spawn in the direction that the player's avatar is facing.
- Even if the player gets nothing, the system will still say "The shrine is pleased with your offering."
- The Blue Moon is the only noticable way to know when a Shrine Event has started and ended.
- To find the Kitsune Shrine, the player must be in Sea Danger Level 6 just before Full Moon for this to have a better chance to spawn.
- If multiple players are participating in the event, each participant will get their own Azure Embers. This means no player can take the Azure Embers spawned for any other player.
