Kitsune Island is a Sea Event that can only be found during a full moon in Sea Danger Level 6.

Spawning

Requirements

• Sea Danger Level 6
• Full Moon
• Any Boat

In order to spawn the Kitsune Island, players can either sail a boat into Sea Danger Level 6 in the daytime and stay there until the Full Moon arrives, or stay in Danger Level 5 and only go into Danger Level 6 when the Full Moon rises. If the player wishes to do this to play it safe, be sure to not wait too long, as it won't spawn in an estimated amount of 5 minutes. Then, the Kitsune Island will spawn instantly, and a system message will appear.

Kitsune Shrine

This island holds the Kitsune Shrine, which can give exclusive rewards in return for Azure Embers.

Notes

• Do not start hunting for Kitsune Island when the day has started. It is recommended to start hunting for the island right before the sun goes down or afternoon. Doing it early will result in triggering another sea event. The player can also leave their boat 20 meters away from them and go to their boat when the moon is about to rise and then enter Sea Danger Level 6 and it should still spawn.
• It is recommended to collect 15 Azure Embers or more in order to have a higher chance of getting the rewards. If the player has less than said amount, they will be guaranteed to get only Money or Fragments instead.
• The Kitsune Island will spawn most of the time if entered within 25 seconds of the full moon text appearing on the player’s screen. It will also disappear after 15 minutes have passed, but it won't despawn if all of the players leave Kitsune Island.
• If the timer reaches 0, the player can no longer interact with the Kitsune Shrine, which means that the player cannot obtain items anymore.
• Azure Embers tend to run away if the player tries to get close so it is recommended to use a fruit with a large transformation move such as Buddha or Mammoth to catch the Azure Embers. It is also recommended to use Retribution Dash on Buddha to catch the Azure Embers from afar. Portal is also good as it's left click ability is very good for catching the Azure Embers. Kitsune is probably the best option as it is very fast as well as a big hitbox, making it extremely overpowered if paired with Pilot Helmet. Dragon is also very good due to its F ability, which allows the player to catch Azure Embers easily. The player should use a fighting style that has a dash ability such as Electric Claw, Godhuman, Superhuman, etc.
• It does not matter what sea event is going on during the time, to get rid of any sea event (including Terrorsharks), use Portal [V]. However, be careful as the Portal [V] can send the player over 9,999 meters in the sky and not give the player enough time to collect the embers and offer them to the shrine.
• Stay out in the water a bit during the blue moon event to have the Azure Ember spawn out of the island. The player can also be in the way of them and the island to keep them from going into the island.
• Using Flash Step on embers will also work and is recommended if movement abilities are on cooldown.
• It is recommended to use the Shark race as the player could camp right outside of the island and snatch the embers instantly.
• If another player tries to sail by using the player’s boat and then reach Sea Danger Level 6, the island won't spawn even if they are in the area and the full moon starts. The island will only spawn if the owner is in the boat (The owner of the boat doesn't have to drive it as long as he is sitting in the boat)
• The Kitsune Island won't spawn if the full moon ends sooner than the blue moon.
• Only ONE Kitsune Island can spawn in a server, which means whoever enters Sea Danger Level 6 first will be the one to spawn the island.
• If the Kitsune Island spawns in a rough sea, collecting the Azure Embers will be much harder due to the fact that lightning can take the player out of mobility moves (e.g: Dough awakened [F] move).

Trivia

• This is currently the most recent island to be added into the game.
• If two players interact with the shrine at the same time the game may bug, and the moon will not become blue.
• There's a glitch that if a player spawns the Kitsune Shrine and dies and comes back while the moon is still there, the player can still do the Azure Ember Raid. And even if the Blue Moon or the Full Moon ends, the Shrine will still remain for another 10-15 Minutes.
• If Mirage Island spawns next to the island, the shrine will not work, and no Azure Ember will spawn on the island, the same thing seems to happen with Rough Sea. If this happens, go far out away from the island. As long as the player still have the timer on their UI, embers will still spawn.
