Hungry ManHungry Man Quest

The Hungry Man quest is a quest involving Hungry Man which allows the player to upgrade their Instinct ability to Instinct V2.

Requirements

• The player has to be Lv. 1800+.
• The player has to have completed the Citizen's quest.
• The player must have obtained the Musketeer Hat accessory.
• 5,000,000
• 5,000 EXP on Instinct (not to be confused with EXP).

If the player doesn't meet these requirements (except for the Money requirement), the Hungry Man will reply with "Go away, weakling."

Steps to obtain

1. Talk to the Hungry Man in one of the pineapple houses in Floating Turtle.
2. Find the 3 fruits (Banana, Apple, and Pineapple):
   • The Apple can be found at the Floating Turtle, where it is on top of a hill near the Hungry Man ("Turtle Mountain" Portal World Warp).
   • The Banana can be found at the Great Tree, where it is on the hill closest to the Hydra Island.
   • The Pineapple can be found at Port Town, near the Pistol Billionaires inside of a stall in the leftmost corner.

     • Note that every 10 minutes, one of the fruits will spawn.
3. Once the player has all of the fruits, talk to the Citizen and he will put the fruits in a bowl.
   • This has to be done, because if the player tries to give the Hungry Man the three fruits without putting it in a bowl first, the Hungry Man will instead give the dialogue "Nice, you found three fruits, but I'm a picky person. I want to eat this in a bowl, can you do that for me?" when talked to.
   • In order for the Citizen to put the fruits into the bowl, the player must have obtained the Musketeer Hat accessory.
4. Return to the Hungry Man and give him the fruit bowl, and the player will after be able to purchase Instinct V2 for 5,000,000.

Notes

• It is recommended to save money for Instinct V2 once level 1800 because of the huge amount of money it requires.
• Portal's [C] move makes this quest much easier since it lets the player travel easily on the map.
• Giving the Hungry Man the bowl of fruits will allow the player to purchase Instinct V2 at any time.
• It is recommended to be extremely cautious while doing this quest, because dying with any of the fruits will cause you to lose them, which will require the player to re-attempt the quest.
  • Because of this, it is recommended to do this quest in a Private Server.
  • One way to grind Instinct quick is to server hop and use all the dodges then server hop again.
• When the player reaches the maximum EXP on Instinct (5,000), they will be given the Title "Ultra Instinct".
  • (The player can check their EXP on Instinct by talking to the Instinct v1 NPC Instinct Teacher, found in the First Sea.)
• The player can actually obtain the Fruit Bowl before talking to the Hungry Man with the 3 fruits.
• Sometimes the Fruit Bowl may remain in the player's hotbar even after finishing the quest, supposedly due to an unknown glitch.
