The Hell's Messenger is a Lv. 2200 Boss in the Third Sea.

Information

He appears after lighting up the third torch in the Fear the Reaper scroll quest. He uses the awakened version of the Dark fruit and also utilizes Aura. He's easier to beat than Heaven's Guardian mostly due to the attacks being easy to dodge.

Appearance

The Hell's Messenger wears a crimson suit with reddish pauldrons on each of his shoulders and a helmet with two black horns along with a devilish grin on his face.

Attacks

This boss uses four moves of the Awakened Dark fruit.

Attack	Description	Tip
Dimensional Slash	Hell's Messenger summons a dark sword, launches a small vertical slash towards the victim that applies a small blinding effect, teleporting him near the target, dealing damage	Dash around and keep distance.
Abyssal Darkness	Hell's Messenger creates a black hole that lashes out dark tentacles in front of him, stunning and pulling the victim , dealing damage.	Dash around.
Endless Hole	He creates a large black hole that stuns targets, dealing rapid damage.	Stay in the air.
World of Darkness	Hell's Messenger manifests a ravenous, dark sphere and launches it at the player. Afterwards, the sphere drags targets towards it before launching them away, dealing damage.	As soon as he readies his attack, stay as far away as possible.

Trivia

• This Boss is from the Yama's Fear The Reaper scroll quest, which is part of the Cursed Dual Katana Puzzle. This is required for the obtainment of the Cursed Dual Katana.
  • It is also recommended the player does this last due to the difficulty of the Haze of Misery Trial.
• It is recommended to use Buddha or Magma to fight this Boss, since if the player dies, they will have to restart the Fear the Reaper quest, which is pure luck and can be very hard to do a second time.
