Hi there! If you're new to this wiki (or fandom) and plan on making an account, please check out our Rules page, for information on new accounts and some rules to follow.
Ghoul is one of only three races that can be obtained through a quest.
Ghoul provides various stat boosts, most notably increasing the user’s speed during the night and allowing the player to leech health from other players, making it excellent for survivability and overall combat effectiveness. It is a great choice for PvP due to its ability to reduce cooldowns quickly and enhance mobility, alongside powerful life leech when awakened to V4. This race is strong in almost every aspect except for relatively weak armor support, which is compensated for by its life leech abilities. Ghoul does not require switching to another race after obtaining it from the Experimic, similar to Draco.
Completing the Alchemist's Quest. To take this quest, the player has to have completed the Colosseum Quest.
V3
Completing arowe's Quest, which varies depending on the race. Ghoul's V3 quest is:
Kill five players without dying (the player does not have to take their bounty, but suspicious kills do not count). The player can kill one player multiple times. When doing the quest, the player may have to kill one to three extra players, because of a glitch that can happen which it does not register the kill. They can also be earned in Friendly PvP mode in private servers (to conserve bounty/honor for the person helping).
Make sure to grab the quest every time joining the game, it will reset upon rejoining.
Adds a dark field around the user that slows enemies and negates their health regen significantly (to a point where the healing is so slow that they can keep track of it going up one HP at a time) and applies partial blindness on enemies within the field. All night passives become available during the day and cooldowns are reduced by 20% (estimated).
Upgraded version:
Upon dashing, crows will attack nearby enemies. Increases the field range.
Visual changes:
A spikey, glowing red halo is added. While transformed, the player grows six black wings on their back.
Faster health regeneration and fast speed at night, although speed still slower than the Rabbit race.
The player can change their race back to Ghoul whenever they'd like; no need to pay anything.
Very good with Buddha due to the race's life leech. (Sanguine Art is also recommended due to additional life leech.)
It can be considered as a mixture of all Races, having faster health regeneration (Angel) and faster speed (Rabbit) at night, as well as extra defense (Shark/Cyborg) and extra damage (Human/Cyborg), making it a good choice for people who can't decide on which race they want to use.
Good for PvP scenarios where there is more than one opponent.
Can reduce the effectiveness of Draco's Thorn Mail, although the life leech will be lost.
Provides strong healing in PvE scenarios when consistently dealing damage, making it highly useful in Raids, particularly for Buddha users.
Domain Expansion (V4)
Reduces cooldowns.
Grants speed buffs during daytime, rivaling even races like Rabbit with certain accessories.
Negates enemies' health regen by a significant amount, rendering them only capable of healing 1 Health point at a time, to the point where each gain in health is countable.
Deals damage to close enemies while dashing. Repeatedly dashing around the enemy can deal significant damage in just a few seconds.
Crows consume enemy Instinct, and can completely drain it during combos.
Can deal damage to sky campers up until a certain height.
Cons
General
Night passives are disabled during daytime, unless Domain Expansion (V4) (Tier 1 or above) is enabled.
