Fragments ( ) is a type of currency used in the Second Sea and Third Sea.

Fragments are one of the three primary currencies in the game, the others being Money and Valor. It has many uses. For example: unlocking the special or the more unique items in the game, or awakening fruits. They are also considerably more difficult to obtain, being dropped in smaller amounts and usually requiring special effort, separate from normal grinding, to gain a large amount.

Second Sea

Shop	500-16,000	Buy from the Shop	Not recommended as it is quite simple to get fragments without doing so.
Raid	300-1000	Stay alive until the timer runs out or until the completion of the raid.	Requires the player to be still alive in the raid. 1,000 - Completion of the raid with more than 3:02 mins left. 300 - Timer runs out at the last island.
Ship Raid	200	Defeat Ship Raid	Requires a boat to spawn it, can only spawn in the Sea. Note that Grand Brigade might not spawn if the player's boat is too large. 50 x2 Brigade 100 x1 Grand Brigade
Sea Beast	250	Defeat Sea Beast	Requires a boat to spawn it, can only spawn in the Sea.
Darkbeard	1,500	Defeat Darkbeard	Requires Fist of Darkness to spawn Darkbeard.
Fishing	1,000-3,000	Fish out a Sunken Chest	Only a purple Sunken Chest will give Fragments.

Elite Pirate	100	Defeat an Elite Pirate	The quest from the Elite Hunter NPC is not required.
Pirate Raid	100	Defeat an enemy NPC from Pirate Raid.	The player will receive fragments at the end of the raid.
Training Dummy	200	Defeat Training Dummy	The quest from the Arena Trainer NPC is required.
Random Surprise	100-250	Random Surprise from Death King	Costs 50 Bones.
Fragment Chest	100-200	Collect Fragment Chest	Fragment Chest can only be found on Treasure Islands and Mirage Island.
Ship Raid	125	Defeat Ship Raid	Requires a boat to spawn it, can only spawn in the Sea. 25 x2 Brigade 75 x1 Grand Brigade
Sea Beast	150	Defeat Sea Beast	Requires a boat to spawn it. Can only spawn in Sea Danger Level 1-6.
Haunted Ship Raid	150	Defeat the 2 ships from a Haunted Ship Raid	Requires a boat to spawn it. Can only spawn in Sea Danger Level 1-6. 75 x2 ship
Terrorshark	300	Defeat Terrorshark	Requires a boat to spawn it. Can only spawn in Sea Danger Level 2-6.
Leviathan	1,000	Defeat Leviathan	Requires Frozen Dimension to spawn Leviathan.
rip_indra True Form	1,500	Defeat rip_indra True Form	Requires God's Chalice to spawn rip_indra (Raid Boss).
Cake Prince	1,000	Defeat Cake Prince	Requires 500 enemies defeated on Cake Land to spawn Cake Prince.
Dough King	2,000	Defeat Dough King	Requires 500 enemies defeated on Cake Land and Sweet Chalice to spawn Dough King.
Someone with the Youtuber Title	2,500	Defeat someone with the Youtuber Title	In order to get the rewards, the player must get bounty from them and thus be close enough in level to do so.
Gravestone	1,000	Pray at the Gravestone	Very rare, gives the player God's Chalice, Hallow Essence and 100,000 as well.
Tyrant of the Skies	1,500	Defeat Tyrant of the Skies	Requires 200 enemies defeated on Tiki Outpost (one eye lights up per every 50 enemies killed totaling at 4 eyes) and breaking all the pots 3 times to spawn Tyrant of the Skies.

Trivia

• On PS5 and Xbox X/S, the player will still be able to see how many fragments they have even if they haven't entered Second Sea.
• To see how much Fragments the player has, they need to hover their cursor over the Money value on PC. On console and mobile, it always displays.
• The Rare Artifact used to fulfill some of the purposes of this currency, but it was then removed in Update 11.
• Before Update 20, this currency didn't appear when the player was in the First Sea.
• There are a few non renewable ways to obtain fragments, like the Horned Man's Quest, which gives an increasing amount of fragments for each boss killed, cumulating to 1500 in total.
• The maximum amount of Fragments a player can hold is 1,000,000,000
• It costs 666,950 to fully max everything the player can buy with Fragments (excluding Race Reroll and Stat Reset)
  • 155,500 to fully Awaken all fruits
  • 187,250 to fully awaken V4 on every race
  • 2,500 to buy the Cyborg race for the first time (excluding potential re-purchases)
  • 31,500 to unlock all Fighting Styles
  • 30,000 to unlock all crew slots
  • 1,500 to purchase the Lantern boat from Cyborg
  • 1,500 to get Kabucha
  • 37,500 to get all Aura colors from Barista
  • 91,000 to get all Dragon skins from Barista (both East and West variants)
  • 10,000 to get the 2 Dragon seats ( 5,000 each from the Dragon Tamer)
  • 15,800 to max the Shipwright subclass
  • 72,500 to upgrade Gravity, Eagle, Pain,Control and Lightning fruits in the Admin Panel
  • 9,500 to get all Eagle skins from Barista
  • 5,500 to get the 2 titles "The Grandfather" and "Jack of All Trades" (Race Reroll and Stats Refund)
  • 10,000 to fully upgrade Sharkman Karate to v2
