Events are limited-time activities. Every year or milestone, Blox Fruits releases a special update that introduces a limited currency, NPCs, Titles, items, or small special activities.

The Halloween Event was first introduced in October 2021. It featured a new currency called Bones, alongside the NPC Death King, who could exchange them for rewards. The event also introduced two new fruits, Revive and Shadow, and a new island in the Third Sea, the Haunted Castle. This island included the Soul Reaper raid boss, the Hallow Scythe (a Mythical sword), and two new accessories.

In November 2023, the event returned, reworking the Revive Fruit into the Ghost Fruit. Three Titles could be obtained, and a new Cursed Chest was introduced. These chests granted Bones, Money, and sometimes Fragments, while spawning NPCs that also dropped Bones. A new Sea Event was added as well. The Death King NPC was made permanently available in all three seas, offering rewards such as 2× EXP, Money, Fragments, and rarely the Hallow Essence or Fire Essence.

Summer Expansion[]

The Summer Expansion is a six-week event spanning August 23 to October 4, 2025, celebrating the game’s 50 billionth visit. Each week introduced a new theme with temporary currencies, as well as limited-time NPCs & items accessible through the Party Realm.

The Lightning Event occurred once every hour at XX:00 for 10 minutes. Two minutes before it began, servers announced: "A lightning storm is approaching in 2 minutes". Electrified enemies spawned on certain islands and dropped Summer Tokens when defeated (20–25 in the First Sea, 25–30 in the Second Sea, 30–35 in the Third Sea).

Tokens could be used at the Summer Gacha, which offered three CHROMATIC Lightning Physical Fruit Skins: Purple Lightning, Yellow Lightning, and Green Lightning.

The Red King Event revolved around the Red Gacha system, which required Oni Tokens. Oni Tokens could be obtained by defeating Oni Soldiers (spawning in groups of four every 5 minutes on Oni Realm islands, dropping 10 tokens each) or by turning in Corrupted Fish to the Oni Fisherman.

The Red Commander raid boss spawned every hour at XX:30 inside the Oni Realm (Interior), dropping 300 Oni Tokens upon defeat. A bug briefly caused it to drop double rewards, but this was quickly patched.

During this event, the Summer Gacha offered three CHROMATIC Diamond Physical Fruit Skins: Rose Quartz Diamond, Emerald Diamond, and Topaz Diamond.

The Pain Event occurred once every hour at XX:00 for 10 minutes. All bosses respawned as Tormented versions that used the Pain fruit in their second form. Defeating them granted Summer Tokens:

  • First Tormented boss defeated: 400 tokens
  • Subsequent bosses: 25 tokens (First Sea), 50 tokens (Second Sea), 75 tokens (Third Sea)

All bosses spawned regardless of normal timers, with restored health. Unfinished bosses despawned at the event’s end.

The Summer Gacha offered three CHROMATIC Pain Physical Fruit Skins: Frustration Pain, Sadness Pain, and Torment Pain.

The RIP Event used the Celestial Gacha, requiring Celestial Tokens. Tokens could be obtained by defeating Celestial Soldiers (spawning every 5 minutes in groups of four across the Celestial Domain) or by turning in Celestial Fish to the Celestial Fisherman.

The Rip Commander raid boss spawned every hour at XX:30 in the Celestial Domain (Interior), dropping 600 Celestial Tokens.

The Summer Gacha offered three CHROMATIC Eagle Physical Fruit Skins: Glacier, Requiem, and Matrix.

The Golden Whirlpool Event occurred once every hour at XX:00 for 10 minutes. Golden Whirlpools appeared near islands, allowing players to fish for Golden Carp or Summer Chests (which contained Summer Tokens). Each whirlpool only yielded one Golden Carp before disappearing.

The Summer Gacha offered three CHROMATIC Bomb Physical Fruit Skins: Nuclear, Thermite, and Azura.

The 50B Celebration Event revolves around the Party Gacha system, which requires Summer Tokens. During this event, Summer Tokens can be obtained through many activities, such as defending either the Oni Realm's or the Celestial Domain's Spirit Tree from the opposing army to earn 500–1000 tokens, participating in Ranked 2v2 matches hourly for 100 tokens, defeating the raid bosses Ashen and Agony for their respective token amounts, joining Fish Fights, and more.

This event also contains Ranked PVP arenas, which have extra features such as the ability to view player HP, enter spectator mode when dead, and display end-of-round match stats. Players can also try out the new PVP system within the Grand Colosseum.

The Party Gacha offers three CHROMATIC Physical Fruit Skins: Red Lightning, Super Spirit Pain, and Celebration Bomb.

(This event has concluded.)

Halloween Event 2025[]

This event brings a new Harvest Moon event occurring at every XX:00 for 10 minutes that grants players to trick or treat in exchange for Candy Corn. A new raid boss, the Unbound Werewolf can also be fought during this event by opening one random door in the Harvest Moon, opening up a portal to where the boss spawns. Multiple players can engage in the battle and upon victory, receive 400 Candy Corn and one Candy Concoction potion.

Players can use their obtained Candy Corn to interact with the Halloween Gacha Dealer to get random prizes through rolls, at 500 Candy Corn per roll. The grand prize is the Werewolf (Tiger) mutated physical fruit, allowing the player to utilize a different moveset of Tiger, alongside a different playstyle.
