The Dragon Tokens and Permanent Dragon Tokens were added after Update 24, where the Dragon Fruit was reworked, and previous owners of the Dragon Fruit were compensated using the automatic exchange of old Permanent and equipped/stored Dragons into Permanent Dragon Tokens and regular Dragon Tokens respectively.
- After heavy backlash from the community, these tokens were changed in a patch hotfix on the 17th of December, 2024, to better compensate for the change.
Pre-patch functionality[]
- Previous owners of physical (stored and equipped) Dragon Fruits were granted one regular Dragon Token per physical dragon owned.
- These tokens could be used to grant a random Mythical fruit (that is not Dragon) when used.
- Previous owners of permanent Dragon were instead granted one Permanent Dragon Token.
- These tokens could be used to exchange for one of 4 different sets of rewards, see below.
These could be found stored inside players' inventories after the update, as the old physical and permanent Dragon Fruits were automatically exchanged into the tokens.
Pre-patch Permanent Dragon Tokens[]
Before the December 17th patch, Permanent Dragon Tokens could be used to receive one of 4 different sets of rewards:
- Upgrade: A discount on purchasing the new permanent Dragon (making it
2,400 instead of 
5,000). - Fruits: A Permanent Dough alongside a Permanent Flame.
- Game Passes: Some Game Passes, such as 2x Money, 2x Drops, 2x Mastery, Fast Boats, +1 Fruit Storage (3x), and Fragments.
- Swordsman: A Dark Blade, 2 Mythical and 2 Legendary Scrolls, and some Fragments.
Post-patch functionality[]
After the aforementioned backlash from the community, these tokens were changed in a patch hotfix on the 17th of December, 2024.[1]
- Previous owners of physical fruits kept the regular Dragon Tokens received prior to the patch, and were additionally granted either a Western or Eastern version of the new Dragon for free.
- Previous owners of permanent fruits were instead able to choose to get either the Eastern or Western version permanently, free of charge, and the old Permanent Dragon Tokens were removed from the game entirely.
- If the player buys the new permanent Dragon at a discount, they will lose their Permanent Dragon Token.
Since January 7th, 2025, the Dragon Tokens have also become tradeable. When traded to other players, these tokens are immediately redeemed by the receiving end and if player already had own token his token and new one will become perm dragon in fruit shop.
Trivia[]
- Dragon Tokens were created due to the existence of two different Dragon variants.
- Upon joining the game, the permanent Dragon Token will always appear as a "new item", indicated by a blue "1" in the Menu or Items buttons. This can be dismissed by opening and closing the player's inventory.
