DracoRace Awakening Puzzle

Draco is one of the three races that can be obtained through a quest. However, it is the only race obtainable exclusively in the Third Sea.

Draco offers strong boosts, excelling at supporting allies and weakening enemies by reducing their damage, speed, and skills. Its Race Awakening adds damage reflection and burst, making it top-tier for PvP, teams, PvE, and sea events. While it lacks speed, its high output and enemy debuffs from V3 and V4 compensate well, often turning fights in the user’s favor. However, its awakening creates a large sphere surrounding the user having heavy VFX, which can cause lag to low-end devices, creating a grave disadvantage for players having such media of playing.

Obtainment[]

	Stage	Method
	V1	Draco can be obtained by exchanging 1 Dragon Egg with the Dragon Wizard after acquiring the Dojo Belt (Black). Once unlocked, the player can switch to Draco anytime without the need of trading in another Dragon Egg or any Fragments , just like Ghoul.
	V2	To unlock the V2, the player must speak to the Dragon Wizard and collect 5 Fire Flowers, which are randomly dropped from NPCs. This has a very low chance of dropping and is very time consuming. After collecting all five, return to the Dragon Wizard with 1,000,000 Money to complete the upgrade. Each flower has a 5-minute cooldown. The player can skip the 5 minute cooldown by server hopping. The flowers have a delayed spawn. The level requirement of this quest is 2000.
	V3	To unlock the V3, the player must talk to the Dragon Wizard and defeat a Terrorshark, dealing at least 10% damage. Then return to him to buy the V3 for 3,000,000 Money. The player must complete the Horned Man's (Rainbow Saviour) quest first.
	V4	To unlock the V4, the player must complete the Draco Awakening Puzzle.

Changes of Stages[]

Each stage gives additional buffs and make visual changes to the player's avatar.

Stage	Buffs	Visual changes
V1	Grants the player a 5% health boost, 5% damage reduction, and 5% extra damage on their melee.	Grants the player a pair of small horns.
V2	Grants the player a minimal dash boost and a flight ability lasting 5 seconds. The usage time resets and can be activated by holding the space bar whilst or after the first air jump. Additionally, Flash Steps create an explosion that deals damage and burn opponents over time. Burn damage deals more damage to players but has a shorter burn duration than NPCs. This does not change the total damage. Total Damage: 108% of Level (Ex. 2800 = 3024)	Provides a pair of wings.
V3	Gives the player an ability called Primordial Reign. When activated: The player roars, granting buffs for themselves and their teammates (allies) of the player's damage by 14% and increases movement speed by 15%. Debuffs the speed of nearby enemies by 15% and provides a soft stun which cancels their abilities if used with correct timing (Psycho v2, Human race can ignore this canceling). Lasts for 10 seconds and has a universal cooldown of 30 seconds making it the longest V3 duration.	Grants the player an additional pair of horns.

V4 unlocks different abilities depending on what "gears" or, in the case of Draco, embers are selected. For more information, please refer to Race Awakening.

Ancient Powers: Upon transforming, receive max stats as well as increased damage, speed, and health regeneration by 10%, as well as boosting the V2 passive ability. Fiery Flight now lasts 6 seconds while flying higher and faster.
Cometic Field: Allows the player to apply explosive orbs on any enemy in the area by hitting one 4 times (around 133% of Level), and increases the damage to player and nearby allies by 15%. The explosion breaks instinct and deals damage to all enemies in the area.	Upgraded version: Explosive orbs damage is greatly increased (around 200% of Level).
Thorn Mail: Allows the player to reflect a portion of damage back to enemies in the area (around 33%) and increases the defense to player and nearby allies by 10,5%. The reflected damage breaks instinct	Upgraded version: Damage reflected increases to around 51% and defense boost increases to 26,25%.
Visual changes: The player gains an extra pair of horns, the primary horns get longer, and when awakened, the player gains a dragon tail. Adds an orange domain/aura shaped of an orb around the player. The transformation animation. The horns.

Pros
General Good against teamers. Great defense. Insane damage. V4 causes lag to enemies (weak devices).
Primordial Reign (V3) Great for both team-based combat and 1v1s. Increases damage and movement speed for both the player and the teammates by 15%. Decreases nearby enemies' speed by 15%. Good for canceling out enemy's combos, especially the moves that need to be held. Also makes the opponent unable to use moves for the next ~0.05s - 0.1s.
Cometic Field (V4) Good for both grinding and PvP. Insane burst damage. Breaks instinct. Increases damage for nearby teammates. Since each hit, even M1s, count as one orb, using a fast attacking weapon like Hallow Scythe can be very effective against bosses or killing players. Can turn short Instinct-trickable combos into one-shot unescapable combos.
Thorn Mail (V4) Good defense. Reflected damage is strong enough to kill enemies. Breaks Instinct. Increases defense for nearby teammates.

Cons
General Very hard to obtain, requiring several quests to be completed. V4 may cause lag to the player (weak devices).
Primordial Reign (V3) Can be countered by keeping distances. Due to a bug, after the 10 seconds is over, this actually decreases the player's base damage on non-Blox Fruit moves until they die or switch teams. No defensive buffs. Needs quick reflexes and good timing.
Cometic Field (V4) Dealing continuous damage with the same move (such as Dough [V], Skull Guitar [X], etc.) will only count as dealing damage once, which summons only an orb. Only increases damage for teammates standing inside the domain/aura.
Thorn Mail (V4) Only reflects a portion of damage back to the enemies, the player still can be killed. Only reflects damage to the enemies who are standing inside the domain/aura. Only increases defense for the teammates standing inside the domain/aura. Bad for anything outside of PvP even with v2 as enemy NPCs close to the player's level have more than 2x the amount of the player's HP.

Trivia[]

The name "Draco" comes from the Latin word for dragon.
Draco is the only race where V2 is not obtainable from Alchemist, V3 is not obtainable from Arowe, and V4 is not obtainable from the Temple of Time.
Ancient One will reply with, "Your race treads a different path to power. I'm unable to help with this." when the player interacts with it with Draco V4.
- When the player interacts with Arowe or Alchemist NPCs as a Draco, they'll ask "What are you?".
Draco is the first and only quest race as of now which can be obtained in Third Sea.
Draco is one of the three races which cannot be obtained in race re-rolls.
Draco is the only race that has a mastery requirement to be obtainable.
Obtaining Draco (up to V3) is the costliest out of all the other races, priced at 4,000,000, instead of the usual 2,500,000.
Draco race is the first and only race to have color customization, as seen with the new Chromatic bundle skins.
- Similarly, Draco wings change color depending on which Dragon skin the player has equipped.
Higher bounty players take increased damage from Cometic Field's orbs.
Instead of replacing gears, the player has to replace embers to upgrade Draco's Race Awakening.
The Volcano Event must be completed before the player can gain access to the secret cave for trials, otherwise, they will not be able to do the trials.
Godhuman's [X] Heaven and Earth fully charged is as big as the Draco V4 circle.
Control [Z] Control Area tap is as big as the Draco V4 circle.
If the player changes their race, they can obtain Draco for free again by talking to Dragon Wizard.
- Draco is the second race to be free upon re-obtainment, the first being Ghoul.
Draco is the only race that has visual changes in all forms.
Draco is the only race that grants a unique passive ability at the V2 stage (Flight).
Draco is the first and currently only race that does not require the Blue Gear to unlock its Race Awakening (See Mirage Island for more info).
Draco V4 race is one of, if not, the most difficult race to get due to achieving all the belts, spawning the Prehistoric Island, and hunting a Leviathan to freeze the Hydra Island.
Draco is the only race that upon awakening upgrade another passive buff from the race (Fiery Flight getting more flight time).
Some sparks will be added circling around the orange domain/aura, as well as a transparent symbol centered around the player, upon obtaining Thorn Mail or Cometic Field.
If the player is using Gravity, Draco V2's Flash Step will be replaced by Gravity's own unique Flash Step.
If the player is absurdly high levelled (e.g. Lv. 7000), when paired with Sound's [F] Tempo: Prestissimo, Thorn Mail will provide 100% damage reduction to the player themself as well as all allies within range.
The player can obtain the blue gear from Mirage Island if they are Draco V3 and if they use the ability Primordial Reign while looking at the moon on the peak point.
Draco has a bug where if the user spams the jump button, they can fly for double the time and distance, which can be very helpful when doing the trials for the v4.
The V2's flight ability can fly much higher when paired with Buddha, as the transformation gives the user a jump boost.
- This is only applicable to Buddha however, as other beast fruits cannot access the V2's flight while transformed.
