Diamond is an Uncommon Natural-type Blox Fruit that costs 600,000 or 1,000 from the Blox Fruit Dealer.

Although Diamond is rarely used in PvP, it can be useful for Sword mains as it provides a valuable defense boost without any hitbox increases (unlike Buddha). That being said, Diamond is not recommended for grinding or for Fruit mains as it only has 3 attack moves which all deal mediocre damage.

The following results are tested on NPCs. The variables that were used to test include: 600 mastery, 2550 points on Fruit Stats and no accessories. The results are for reference only, there is no guarantee that all of them are 100% correct.

Pros
General Cheap and easy to obtain. Good for sword/gun/fighting style mains due to [Z]'s defense buff, increasing their survivability.
[Z] Encrust The defense boost is good for tanking Bosses, players, and NPC's (Might be effective in fruit Raids). Quick transform.
[X] Beaming Tackle Has good distance coverage, making it a good mobility move.
[C] Diamond Hail Decent damage if all projectiles hit.
[V] Solar Flare Blinds enemies for 3 seconds, making it a somewhat good combo starter and for running.

Cons
General Most of its moves deal less damage than similar alternatives, making it a sub-par choice for fruit mains. Only 3 moves deal damage.

[X] Beaming Tackle Is difficult to hit, and has relatively low damage.
[C] Diamond Hail Low range. Has a delay before dealing damage (on low-end devices such as mobile), on top of requiring a degree of accuracy to hit.
[V] Solar Flare Has a slight startup lag, making it harder to use in combos or as a combo starter.

Trivia

• This fruit has been called "Walmart Buddha" before due to this fruit giving less of a defense buff than Buddha, however depending upon the user's play style, it may be better (i.e. being a sword main as the small hitbox gives an advantage).
• As mentioned earlier, Encrust's buff also stacks with Aura's buff. So, with both the Aura buff and Encrust's buff, the damage reduction is increased to around 47% (at the final aura stage).
• The [Z] move's animation is the same as awakened Buddha's [C] move animation but faster.
• The [C] move can go through objects if aimed right behind them.
• This fruit can be used for trolling other players as [V] blinds enemies for 3 seconds.
• The [V] move of this fruit along with Jitte's [X] move are the only fruits with a screen effect intended to blind players.
