Blox Fruits Wiki

Turns the user into diamond, enhancing defense and providing sharp attacks.
Description in Shop

Diamond is an Uncommon Natural-type Blox Fruit that costs $ 600,000 or R$ 1,000 from the Blox Fruit Dealer.

Diamond allows the user to encrust their own body with diamond, giving themselves protection, the ability to conjure and manipulate diamonds to attack their opponents, and also using their shiny body to reflect light and blind nearby opponents. This fruit is a rather good PvP choice as it is extremely powerful when used in builds and on its own, with most moves having large hitboxes and dealing huge damage, making it a very strong option in eliminating Mythical Beast-type fruits in PvP, most notably Kitsune, Yeti, T-Rex and Dragon. However, due to recent nerfs, there are other better fruits for eliminating these types of fruit users, such as Portal.

Just like Buddha, this fruit can only use attacks while transformed. However, Diamond has a unique mechanic where the transformation move can be an attack even while transformed, and holding down [Z] Encrust will untransform the user. The defense provided by this fruit makes it a versatile fruit for every build, including fruit mains. This fruit is also decent for grinding, though there are better options available.

Despite being quite a powerful fruit, due to being very common and cheap, Diamond does not have much value in its physical form, though it has a trade value higher than that of legendaries like Spider and Love. This makes it a decent fruit for beginners and is very useful for Second and Third Sea players in fighting bosses or other players. However, Diamond does not have a reliable movement ability for travel, making it less useful for First Sea players who are trying to travel to islands. Nonetheless, Diamond is still a decent fruit in general for almost every activity, including Raids and Sea Events.

    Overview[]

    Pros
    General
    • Cheap and easy to obtain.
    • Good for sword/gun/fighting style mains due to [Z]'s defense buff, increasing their survivability.
    • Great for grinding and raids.
    • Very powerful and abusable in PvP, on a par with many Mythical fruits despite being an Uncommon fruit itself.
    • Skins have very high trade value, especially the Ruby and Rose Quartz skins.
    [TAP] Radiant Lunge
    • Good mobility move.
    • Hits multiple enemies when hitting a wall or the ground.
    • Can fling the user really far if used correctly
    [Z] Encrust

    • Quick transformation.
    • Deals damage while transforming.
    [X] Shard Storm
    • Good damage (if all projectiles hit).
    • Good stun.

    [V] Prismatic Reflection
    • Auto-aims.
    • Decent or grinding.
    • Decent hitbox.
    • Can be deadly in combos if used correctly.

    Cons
    General
    • Most moves are close range and difficult to hit by themselves, making them require help from other attacks.
    • Not suitable for fighting against teamers.
    [TAP] Radiant Lunge
    • Bad for grinding.
    • Can sometimes fling the player into water, causing the player to die (most likely unintended).
    • Easy to dodge.
    [Z] Encrust
    • Low damage.
    • Small range.
    [X] Shard Storm
    • Mediocre damage if only a small amount of shards hit.
    • If held, the stun can prove a bit rough and can give the enemy a chance to escape.
    [C] Shimmering Disruption
    • Slight startup.
    • Not a lot of range if tapped.
    [V] Prismatic Reflection
    • Single target.
    • No stun.
    • Can be dodged.

    Trivia[]

    • [TAP] Radiant Lunge is similar to an old move prior to the revamp, Beaming Tackle. Similarly, the revamped [X] Shard Storm is a rework of Diamond Hail, and [C] Shimmering Disruption is the newer Solar Flare.
    • [Z] Encrust will deal around 3.5x more damage when used against a wall or corner.
    • Diamond is one of the few fruits in the game that can actively distort enemies. Others are Gravity, Quake and Venom.
    • Diamond has one of the largest differences between its physical model and its fruit icon (both the face, stem, and overall shape).
    • Diamond is one of the two Uncommon fruits that is not Elemental and does not have an awakening.
    • Diamond is the only Natural Uncommon Blox Fruit.
    • Diamond is one of the only non-beast type fruits that can transform, the others being Rubber, Venom and Gas.
    • For some reason, if the user's character does not have skin, [Z] Encrust will not turn their character blue.
      • This may be because the new Diamond changes the color of the user's skin, like Rubber, instead of coating their avatar with a diamond texture, which was the old Diamond.
    • There's a glitch that can make the user avatar fling very far by using the [TAP] ability while using a certain Roblox avatar. This can also be done by jump-dashing and tapping if you have a weak device with high ping.
    • Diamond's eyes in the inventory are different from its physical model.
