Abilities[]
Deandre uses the Awakened Magma's [Z] Magma Shower, [X] Volcanic Assault, and [C] Great Magma Hound moves and has Aura, which means Elemental Reflex is useless on this enemy. A player can only hit him when they activate their own Aura, like other Elemental users. Note that despite having moderate health, he can be difficult to defeat, as his moves deal extreme damage.
Strategies[]
Despite being very dangerous up close, Magma generally has a short effective range and slow speed. The player can avoid most of his attacks by moving around and keeping their distance, and then attacking in-between Deandre's moves. Magma puddle damage can also be minimized by staying off the ground. Instinct can help with avoiding his attacks, although the [Z] move can easily waste dodges.
