This sword can be purchased for 1,000 from the Sword Dealer, who can be found at the Pirate Starter Island and the Marine Starter Island located in the First Sea.

Pros	General Good option for beginners. Low cooldowns. Low price. Low mastery requirements. Particularly useful for new players who do not have a Blox fruit. Good for training Aura because of the low damage. Combo potential with its Z and X moves, especially when paired with the Combat fighting style. Both moves AOE.

Cons
General Cannot hit Chop users. Does not break Instinct. Terrible damage, being the most common sword other than Katana, which does the same damage. The cooldowns are very long for such a weak weapon, making it very ineffective, especially at such a low point in the game. For its stage in the game, the Cutlass's upgrade cost is exorbitant due to the requirement of Angel Wings, a material that can only be dropped by enemies in Upper Skylands, which are level 450+.

[X] Air Slash Easily to dodged due to their small range or slow speed.
