Blox Fruits Wiki

The Bounty/Honor System in Blox Fruits is a leaderboard feature that encourages rivalry among players, awarding PvP damage and defense bonuses for every 500,000 bounty/honor gained. However, players with Bounty/Honor between 20M and 30M no longer receive PvP boosts. Once a player reaches 5M Bounty/Honor, they only gain it in 1M increments and will lose more if they die in PvP or combat log.

Pirates use Bounty to reflect their value, while Marines use Honor to gauge respect. Each player begins at zero and must progress individually. The maximum Bounty/Honor is capped at 30 million, and it's important to note that Bounty and Honor are separate: a player's Marine save tracks Honor differently from the Bounty in their Pirate save.

Higher Bounty/Honor players face greater losses if they die. For instance, killing a player with 2.5M - 3.99M Bounty/Honor results in equal gains and losses. At 4M+, they lose double the amount the defeater gains from them. The maximum Bounty/Honor loss is 36,400, while the maximum gain is 18,200. Defeating an admin yields 50,000 Bounty/Honor.

At max level (2800), a player can only earn Bounty from opponents within a 25% level range. For example, a Lv. 2800 player can gain Bounty only from players at Lv. 2100 or above. This range is widest at Lv. 2120, where players can gain Bounty from others between Lv. 1590 and 2650.

Admins can set their Bounty/Honor above 30M using the exclusive command "/b (amount)", which is why some leaderboard entries exceed the cap. See the Commands page for more information.

Basic information

  • Bounty/Honor from Basic Enemies: Players can earn Bounty/Honor by defeating regular enemies, capped at 250,000. Once a player has over 250,000 Bounty/Honor, they can no longer gain it from basic enemies. Players must then defeat bosses (up to 2,500,000 Bounty/Honor) or engage in PvP with similarly leveled players to continue increasing their score. If a player is defeated by an NPC, they lose Bounty/Honor equal to the NPC’s level (e.g., a Lv. 1400 NPC defeat should result in a loss of 1400 Bounty/Honor).
    • Possibly due to a bug, the player ends up losing much more Bounty/Honor than the NPC's level (around 5x).
  • Bounty/Honor from Bosses: Players earn Bounty/Honor equal to 25 times the boss’s level when defeating bosses. However, players cannot gain Bounty/Honor from bosses once they exceed 2,500,000.
  • Bounty/Honor from PvP: Players around the same level can gain Bounty/Honor by defeating each other, which is the only way to exceed 2.5 million Bounty/Honor.
    • If a player is killed by another, they lose Bounty/Honor depending on their current amount, and the victor gains a similar amount.
    • Players with less than 2.5 million Bounty/Honor do not lose any points in PvP.
    • Defeating a player with 2.5 million Bounty/Honor typically yields 10,700 - 10,900 Bounty, whereas defeating a player below 2.49 million awards 8,575.
    • If a player with 2.49 million or lower Bounty/Honor defeats another player (pirates or marines), they gain between 9,100 and 18,200 Bounty, depending on their own total.
Honor at risk msg

While a player is combat-tagged, a message appears at the bottom of the screen indicating they are in combat. If the player has 2.5 million Bounty/Honor or more, an additional message, "Bounty/Honor at risk!", will appear, warning that they risk losing Bounty/Honor if they are defeated or leave the game.

If the opponent leaves the game, disconnects, or gets kicked while combat-tagged, the message "<Player Name> left the game and has been penalized!" will appear from the killer's point of view.

If the player leaves the game while still in combat, they will see the message "You combat logged the last time you played, and your Bounty/Honor has been penalized." the next time they join.

However, there is a different type of combat tag that does not penalize Bounty/Honor if the player server hops or rejoins. This appears when the player attacks another player but doesn't get attacked, as shown here:

Better combat
  • If a player has between 5 million and 14.99 million Bounty/Honor, a red message will appear in the chat whenever they join the game:

"BEWARE! (player's username) has joined the server!"

  • If a player has between 15 million and 30 million Bounty/Honor, a red message will appear in the chat whenever they join the game:

"A GOD HAS ARRIVED! (player's username) has joined the server!"

Additionally, the game has a "3/3" system, which limits players to earning or losing Bounty/Honor from each other only three times within a 72-hour period.

Example: If a player kills someone twice, and the other player kills them once, they must wait 72 hours (3 days) before gaining or losing Bounty/Honor from each other again. This system is designed to prevent players from farming Bounty on friends or alternate accounts.

PvP Buffs & Rewards

Another system related to Bounty/Honor is the PvP Buff System. For every 500,000 Bounty/Honor a player gains, they receive buffs specifically against other players (not NPCs). The strength of these buffs varies with each level.

Note: When a player reaches 5,000,000 (5 million) Bounty/Honor, they stop receiving buffs every 500,000 (500k) Bounty/Honor. Instead, they gain a buff every 1,000,000 (1 million) Bounty/Honor they accumulate. For example, after reaching 5,000,000 Bounty/Honor, the next buff is at 6,000,000 (6 million), not at 5,500,000 (5.5 million).

The final Bounty/Honor buff is awarded at 20,000,000 (20 million) Bounty/Honor.

The player can check how much their current boost is by talking to the Bounty/Honor Expert NPC, the table of every documented boost can be found here. To balance the duration of PvP battles, players receive more defense than damage boosts from these buffs.

At 10 million Bounty/Honor, players are also awarded the Summon Sea Beast item, enabling them to summon a Sea Beast at will.

Notes:

  • The Summon Sea Beast ability does not grant any drops or credits. However, it can help charge up Race Awakening (V4).
  • The Summon Sea Beast item is PERMANENT and will not be removed if losing Bounty/Honor.
  • Upon reaching 10 million Bounty/Honor for the first time, a message will appear at the top of the screen: "You've awakened a hidden ability.", confirming that the player earned the item automatically.

Titles

Players can also earn Titles by reaching certain amounts of Bounty/Honor:

  • Reaching 5 million Bounty/Honor will award the player two titles: the "Pirate Hunter" and "Bounty Hunter" titles, both colored white.
  • Reaching 10 million Bounty will award the player the Warlord of the Sea title #024, colored with a slightly dark red.
  • Reaching 20 million Bounty will award the player two titles: the "Emperor of the Sea" and the "Empress of the Sea" titles #025 and #026 respectively.
  • Reaching 10 million Honor will award the player the "Admiral" title #027.
  • Reaching 20 million Honor will award the player the "Fleet Admiral" title #028.

Note: Titles will not be removed if losing Bounty/Honor.

Marine Ranks

Certain "ranks" (displayed above the player's name) can be earned as a Marine. They depend entirely on the amount of Honor the player has.

Honor Rank name Honor Rank name
1 Seaman Recruit 1M Lieutenant Commander
1K Seaman Apprentice 2M Commander
5K Seaman First Class 3M Captain
15K Petty Officer 4M Commodore
30K Chief Petty Officer 5M Rear Admiral

500K Lieutenant 20M Legendary Fleet Admiral

Suspicious kills

A suspicious kill helps prevent exploiters from automatically killing players. If a player’s kill meets certain criteria (typically consisting of mostly M1 hits or melee attacks), they will not gain Bounty/Honor from that kill. This system is intended to detect and prevent suspicious kills, though it sometimes falsely flags legitimate ones. For example, Buddha users, who mainly use M1 attacks, often trigger this system. Occasionally, other fruit users, such as Kitsune, Leopard, and T-Rex users, also experience suspicious kill detection due to their M1 moves.

Note: The player's PvP status will remain active if they die from a suspicious kill.
