Requirements for Roles/Promotions
Notes:
- Discord is usually needed to be any of these, exceptions may be made.
- Applications for these roles/promotions are put up every now and then, do NOT ask for them. They will come eventually.
Discussion Moderator permissions.
- Around 1300 or 1700 posts.
- A clear understanding of the rules.
- Maturity (usually).
- It helps if you're known within the community.
Content Moderator permissions.
- A clear and decently consistent effort into pages that you edit.
- Knowing where and how to report vandals/griefers, and a great history of having done it before.
- Frequently undo/revert griefing/vandalism.
- A clear understanding of the rules.
- Be active. I guess.
Administrator/Sysop permissions.
- Has to already be a mod.
- Do excellent work.
- Edit a lot of pages.
- It mostly comes down to having respect from an already-admin, or, preferably, tort, for a recommendation.
Bureaucrat permissions.
- No one's gotten this one before, and no one probably ever will.
- It's an interesting topic, but you could always ask tort herself for the reason.
