Accessories are one of four ways to enhance stats and damage in the game. The other three ways are Stats Allocation, Upgrading Weapons, and Enchantments.
Accessories are one of the main ways that players can wear items and use in combat or on adventures. Players are able to wear accessories to provide themselves with stat buffs to enhance their damage or any stats as possible. They can be equipped and worn via inventory, and only one accessory can be worn until it has been removed. They are considered essential for PvP.
Talking to the Nerd will tell the player the buffs of the accessory that they are currently wearing.
Accessories are obtainable in several ways, including:
- Purchasing an accessory from an NPC (e.g., Santa Hat),
- Killing another player while certain requirements are met (e.g., Usoap's Hat),
- Completing a quest (e.g., Colosseum Quest),
- Killing a boss and getting its drop (e.g., Coat),
- Having a certain stat level to buy said accessory (e.g., Tomoe Ring).
- Crafting it with materials (e.g., Terror Jaw).

List of Accessories
Notes
- No accessories currently apply debuffs or negative stats to the player.
- There are no accessories that are Common rarity.
- Only one accessory can be worn at a time.
- Party Hat is the only item to provide an XP boost, making it useful in early to mid-game progression or when grinding mastery.
- Holiday Cloak, Cupid's Coat, Kitsune Mask, and Kitsune Ribbon are the only accessories that have an animation when worn.
- Dragon Mantle is the only accessory that grants more air jumps.
- Event items that have been available through certain periods may or may not be obtainable through normal means, although Seasonal Accessories may rerun through yearly circulation.
- If you are playing in console, accessories will show in hotbar by name. If you equip them in your hotbar, nothing will happen, and you will be basically holding nothing.
- If the player bugs and somehow tries to wear two accessories at once, a message saying, "Cannot hold multiple <Wear> types at once." will pop up.
- While Uzoth's Cloak, Wyvern Helmet, and the Dragon Mantle are currently Admin Exclusive and not obtainable by players this is likely to change in a future update whereas the D.S. Coat will not become obtainable as it was only given to members of the Diamond Syndicate crew, though the item was taken away from the members of this group due to misuse of their privileges and is now only owned by Blox Fruit staff members.
