This is a biased tierlist and it is purely based on my opinion (as an artist). I would love to see what you guys think of the icon arts yourselves and I'd love to see you guys make ur own. I have my justifications for the rankings below:
Rocket (B+): Great Icon, however it is a bit misleading. You’d expect to be able to turn into a rocket with THAT icon.
Spin (B): Good icon, could be much better though, there is a lot of potential for spin to have a much more unique fruit icon (it’s a helicopter blade).
Blade (S): One of the most accurate fruit icons in comparison to the actual fruit moveset. The saws in the icon being splayed is neat attention to detail, making it one of the best fruit icons in the game.
Spring (D): Boring and basic icon, even the colour scheme is ugly when paired with the glowing white border. Not to mention how the spring is lopsided.
Bomb (C-): It’s a bomb; nothing special. The chromatics fix that issue though. Has a lot of potential getting a new artwork for an icon (such as giving it a face like reworked bomb).
Smoke (D): One of the blandest, if not THE blandest fruit icon. It tries being similar to other elemental fruits by displaying what it does, but it is literately a blob of grey. At the very least it accurately portrays what the smoke fruit is capable of.
Spike (A): The Dragon update made the spikes much more symmetrical. An accurate icon and pretty good in terms of detail. It could be a lot more dynamic though.
Flame (S-): A more detailed version of it’s previous icon. Nothing much to say, other than that it looks amazing and accurate to both the physical fruit and the movset.
Ice (D-): Its literately just an ice cube. One of the laziest fruit icons, whats worse is that there is so much potential for it to receive a new icon.
Sand (C): Similar to other mythical fruits, the icon usually represents one of it’s moves. A sandstorm is accurate, though a lot more detail could be added.
Dark (A): One of the coldest icons, with it receiving highly detailed eyes (going from red angular eyes). The borders could be improved so they looked more ‘tentacular’.
Eagle (S): A great example of an accurate icon, perfectly symbolises what the eagle is all about (even though it’s just a wing, the coloured tips are accurate to the fruit and also how vibrant the moveset is).
Diamond (S-): A simple and effective icon, almost resembles jewellery. It loses points in accuracy though, so the bottom of S tier is fitting.
Light (S): Both the old icon and the current icon would be considered A tier. It gains majority of its point in detail, such as how light travels in waves. Simple and effective icon.
Rubber (B+): If it weren’t for the fact that the fruit’s moveset consisted of purple, Rubber’s icon could fit for a fighting style. Also note how it is very similar to Quake’s Icon. More detail would be desirable, though considering how old this fruit is its not hard to see why.
Ghost (A-): Currently, ghosts icon resembles the revive fruit, but I’ll be ranking it on what the icon should look like. A very accurate icon in both colour scheme and artwork, though the ghost does kind of resemble a thumb.
Magma (B): It’s a super detailed volcano, which are associated with Magma/Lava. However, the icon really lacks the ‘magma’ aspect and spewing magma from the icon would’ve easily fixed that (also note that the volcano is floating). Great detail on the volcano artwork though
Quake (S): A vast improvement from the old icon, genuinely SO much better at conveying the ‘air shattering’ aspect of the fruit. The artwork is not only simple, but also very accurate to the moveset and physical fruit.
Buddha (F): wth is this icon bro. Not only is it inaccurate (the icon depicts Budai, not Buddha), but the icon is also incredibly ugly, with the hyper-realistic reflection and face not helping it in terms of detail. The old icon was better.
Love (B): I guess you couldn’t ask for more out of a love icon, a pink heart is the best way to convey love.
Creation (S): The detail on the towers is super neat and is an upgrade from Barrier’s icon (which would’ve been B tier due to lack of detail).
Spider (A): Cool icon, though the spider on the icon is misleading to what the fruit actually does. The old icon (a yarn ball) would’ve been S tier, though I respect the artwork for its current icon.
Sound (D): The most uncreative fruit icon (it’s just a treble clef and a couple music notes). Considering how colourful the moveset is, I don’t see why at least 1 of the surrounding notes could’ve been a different colour. This icon has so much potential.
Phoenix (B): Not a bad icon at all, its just that you can tell how outdated the fruit is. A few updates ago, this icon would be S tier.
Portal (F+): This is personal bias. The portal PNG (which is used for old World warp [C], [Z], [V], [F] AND M1) REALLY gets old, and it sucks that despite how accurate the Portal icon is, I can’t justify putting it in S tier for accuracy and detail purely because the icon is a copy-paste of the moves and is heavily overused. The icon could have a chain motif just like many of it’s moves; there is a lot of missed potential.
Rumble (S): Idk what else the icon could be, the old one was really bad and the current one does fix a lot of the issues I had with the old icon (the lightning ball only represented 1 move in its entire kit).
Pain (F): This icon is the reason I made this tierlist. This is genuinely one of the UGLIEST icons in the game and it looks like an EGG. As much as I love using Pain, this icon is unbearable to look at, the proportions are entirely off and the face isn’t even accurate to any of the pain ghosts.
Blizzard (S): This icon does the best at what most other elemental fruits did, the details on the ‘blizzard’ look nice in the icon and is very much accurate to what the blizzard fruit is capable of.
Gravity (A): I am really conflicted on the placement for this icon. The art is phenomenal, on par if not better than that of Dragon, but due to how small inventory icons are in-game and the positioning of the purple streaks, the purple flames almost look hairy and doesn’t actually convey the meteor properly.
Mammoth (S): The second-best Beast Fruit icon (behind the Dragons of course). It is the best icon in terms of the ‘face’ trope that other beast fruits have as their icon, such as Yeti and Kitsune.
Trex (B): This is one of the few fruits that I think would benefit from having an icon re-design. Front-facing dinosaurs generally aren’t very appealing, and Trex suffers from having awkward proportions such as the protruding bones. It’s not the worst icon in the game, in fact the current one is good, but an icon redesign that looks at it from the side would be favourable.
Dough (D): The same case with Gravity, except this time I despise the new icon. I get the direction they were going for by making the dough look more like dough, but the positioning of the dough itself is awful, with the end of it looking as if it was squirting the dough outwards. Considering the prominence of donuts in Dough’s moveset, it would’ve been cooler to see a donut theme for its icon as well, using the texture of the dough in its current icon.
Shadow (C): I don’t like this icon. Not only does it feel a bit too direct of a reference to Gecko Moria, but the shadow figure in the icon looks like a Roblox character. It is different from the Barrier fruit’s icon in that on the Barrier fruit, it is just the silhouette of a humanoid figure while Shadow’s icon straight up uses a roblox-shaped face and head.
Venom (S): I genuinely hope this icon doesn’t get changed too much, this icon is a classic representation of what a Mythical fruit should feel like. The positioning of the neck and head is natural and almost has no flaws. It could use more updated details but that’s about it, Amazing Icon.
Control: (B+): Simple and effective, only loses points because of how outdated the icon it is. The icon changing while Area [Z] is active is an added touch. A visual update to both the fruit moveset and the icon would be great to have.
Gas (C-): Despite it being an elemental fruit, it has an icon reminiscent of Beast fruits, and this one was executed poorly. The smoke plumes from the mouth and back of the knight have no detail whatsoever, making it look like a blob of colour. The only interesting aspect of the icon is the eyes, which in-game is very hard to see.
Spirit (S): Idk what else you could ask for, this icon is perfect.
Leo (C+): A very lazily drawn face of an anthropomorphic leopard. At the very least it is bearable and looks decent (the expression isn’t intimidating enough).
Yeti (F): This icon hurts because not only is the face a dead-pan expression with red eyes, but also the resolution of the icon in-game is horrible. You could tell the icon of this fruit was the very last of their priorities during development, as not even the glowing red eyes (which is one of Yeti’s features) have any detail/the glow is way too faint. The expression of the icon doesn’t help it in any way and many improvements could be made.
Kitsune (C): This icon was the bear minimum. The snout proportions are completely off and makes the face look extremely awkward and squeezed. The tails in the icon also don’t match the number of tails in either the physical fruit, untransformed moveset or transformed model.
Dragon (S+): Obviously, both Dragons have the best icons in the game, but I personally think East Dragon’s icon is a lot more accurate and cleaner compared to West Dragon’s icon (the West Dragon icon has purple rings, which it doesn’t have in either the physical fruit model or the transformation).

Pvp but for fun - pain(the second life is good but got a small timer in my opinion u can gain a lot of experience using pain just be patient as it is hard to use)
Grinding - pain
Sea events - pain (lightning for only sea beast)
Raids - lightning
Graphics/vfx- pain (super saiyan)
Air fighting - pain (both are extremely bad but the pain c held gives it a edge as it is a pretty goodish snipe move)still try to fight on ground.
Grinding mastery on sword/gun - lightning (elemental reflex)
Dmg - pain

Easier to use - lightning
More fun to use - pain (opinion)
