On “Great Tree”, there’s a secret entrance on the back side of the Large Tree. Inside, players can find a Portal looking structure with an NPC named the “Soul of the Forest” (who is a green glowing orb) floating in front of it. If the player interacts with the NPC & is below level 1950, the NPC will summon vines that pull the player into the ground, killing them instantly. If the player is level 1950 or above & interacts with the NPC, the NPC won’t kill them & instead will say:
“Please help me find my Key, I’ve been stuck here for ages trying to return home, but I cannot open the portal without it. If you help me, I’ll let you enter my dimension”.
Options: “Help”, “Nevermind”.
If “Help” is selected, the NPC will say this:
“The Key was broken into 3 fragments. I need you to find them for me”.
Options: “Accept” & “Nevermind”.
If Accept is selected, the user can now be able to find the key’s fragments
The first fragment can be found by opening 50 chests in a single server
The second fragment can be obtained by killing 2 Elite Pirates (the second elite pirate has to be the very next one to spawn after the first).
The third by defeating Rumbling Waters.
With a 10% chance of spawning in Sea Danger Level 5, a small island with 2 trees & an anvil will spawn (though it only spawns if the player has all 3 fragments). Players can interact with the anvil & can craft the Forest Key with it. This Key will allow players to open the portal.
Once the player returns to “Great Tree”, they can interact with the Soul Of The Forest & give them the key, allowing them to open the portal, & enter whenever they want.
When the player enters the portal, they'll be brought into a large area with lots of giant trees everywhere called the “Forest Dimension”. This forest has 5 sections; the Normal Forest (Default Spawn location), the Sky Forest, the Sea Forest, the Magical Forest, & the Cursed Forest.
In each forest there are 10 creatures which drop materials when killed. None of these creatures can be seen with instinct V1 nor V2.
